Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Orlando

I did not have a very good experience at this Einstein bagel. I woke up on Saturday morning craving breakfast and decided to jump in my car in my night clothes and go to the drive-through of Einstein bagels. I ordered an all nighter with a hash brown. When I got to the window they gave me my bag and as I usually do, I pulled out the hash Brown to take a bite before I even left the drive-through. My hash Brown was completely cold! Like literally just came out of the refrigerator cold! I then decided to take a bite of my sandwich to see if it was ok. The only thing warm about the sandwich was the egg! That cheese they put on the sandwich was also cold like it had just come out of the fridge! I went back through the drive-through and told the lady that my items were cold and she told me to come around to the window. But there were 3 cars in front of me so I refused to wait! I pulled around and parked to go inside….. don't forget I was in my night clothes, so I was very embarrassed by this! They had no problem making me a new sandwich and giving me a warm hashbrown... which still want even that hot! The only positive thing about this experience was that I got to keep my cold hash brown and sandwich so that I can warm them up another day. Einstein’s is usually one of my favorite breakfast places but this location has been missing the mark. I came in last week to order just a Nova Lox and chai tea, and I waited 20+ min for my order although there were only 2 people ahead of me. When I received my order, the employee told me they were out of onions so they didn’t put any on my sandwich. If they were out of onions, they should have told me while I was ordering, not after the sandwich was made. I would have ordered something else if I knew that. At the very least, they should have asked me if I wanted to replace the onions with another ingredient. Today, I ordered a nova lox again from this location on Door Dash. A few minutes later I received an email saying they were out of the nova lox, so they replaced my order with the tasty Turkey sandwich per the “merchant’s recommendation.” I did not want the Turkey sandwich and no one asked me if I wanted to order another item instead and no one offered me a refund. Door Dash wouldn’t even let me change the order or request a refund until after it was delivered. I was refunded through Door Dash but only for the cost of the sandwich. I still had to pay delivery and driver fees for a sandwich that I didn’t even want thanks to the poor communication from...

This is simply the most disgusting Einstein bagels I have been to.

Every glass surface including the windows, bagel display cases and drink cases were covered in handprints and oils. Clearly had not been cleaned in a long time and very noticeable. There were lots of empty tables to sit at, but every single one had not been cleaned and was covered in peoples crumbs and cream cheese. Very gross. Trash can area was overflowing and crumbs all over the counter tops. Floors were absolutely filthy.

It felt really gross to be in this place and the food showed it too. We were charged EXTRA for the lettuce on the bagel and it was tired, limp, flaccid, and had brown spots on it. Very soggy and not fresh. I felt like I needed to shower after being in there.

We had somebody cut us in line too, very obviously, and the staff let it happen.

Employees are all stuck in covid times and still wearing masks. Can’t hear what anyone is saying and everything is frustratingly muffled. I would be embarrassed to be the manager of this...
