We waited a total of 38 minutes for a table. After being notified that our table was ready, we arrived at the restaurant within one minute — only to be completely ignored by the staff. We stood there for another two minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge us. After that, we spent another two minutes trying to communicate with the staff, attempting to understand what was going on. Eventually, we took a photo of their seating system for documentation. The staff member who finally delivered the rejection — a tall man with glasses and single eyelids — did so with the composure of someone denying a loan application, showing no explanation, no apology, and certainly no trace of common courtesy. I genuinely wonder if this establishment invites guests merely for sport — as part of some strange social experiment in public humiliation. If this individual is the face of your customer service, then perhaps the real issue here isn’t table availability, but a fundamental lack of decency and professionalism. If you’re curious to experience this kind of robotic, dismissive, and interrogative hospitality yourself — by all means, pay...
Read moreAmazing Chinese restaurant in Orlando! By far my favorite dish is the Chef's Special fish- it's crispy and flavorful and comes out in a big dish with tons of vegetables and sauce. I also really liked the sauteed cabbage and the cucumber salad. I was expecting the food to be spicier, but regardless I was still really impressed by all of the food and understand that they have to balance catering to an American audience. The only place where ChiliSpot is lacking is in service. The servers were really friendly! But they did make a couple mistakes like dropping and breaking dishes (potentially dangerous) and also they brought out the dessert before some of our main dishes when we asked to get dessert towards the end of our meal. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat, I'm so glad that there's now such a high quality authentic Chinese restaurant...

Authentic Sichuan Flavor
Our recent road trip through the South had one major highlight we couldn’t wait for – Chilispot, the Sichuan restaurant we’d heard so much about it absolutely lived up to the hype!
For lovers of bold, authentic Sichuan flavors like us, finding a restaurant in the U.S. that truly captures the essence of Chinese cuisine can be rare. Most places tend to lean towards milder, Americanized dishes that lack the complexity and heat we crave. But Chilispot is the real deal – from the very first bite, it was clear that the chef is a true Sichuan native, perfectly embodying the soul of Sichuan cooking. We could immediately tell the difference between this and the usual “fake Sichuan” offerings you often encounter overseas. The flavors were deep, spicy, and layered – just as they should be. We ended up ordering enough food for 4-5 people, and it was worth every bite! It’s no wonder people call this one of the top food spots in Orlando.Despite the bustling crowd (especially with so many Chinese visitors flocking there for the New Year), the service was exceptional. On January 1st, the waitlist was so long that we decided to come back on the 4th. That turned out to be a great call – no wait, lightning-fast service, and generous portions. A special shout-out to the waitress who served us – her sweet and cheerful demeanor made the experience even better.Chilispot is truly a gem. If you’re craving real Sichuan food in Orlando , this place is a must-visit. Five stars – highly...
