First off I would like to say that I’m a loyal customer at this location and visit often. Long story short, my family and I stopped by on the way home around 1 in the morning on 1/2/24 to grab something to eat before going home. We usually dine in but being that it was too late we decided that we would grab and go. We ordered something simple which was the 2x2x2. Cashier was Melissa who was very Nice and welcomed us in. Upon arriving home we noticed that the order wasn’t what we ordered so I called up to the store and spoke to the manager Ms. Christina who apologized for the incorrect order and even offered to remake it, if I could come back up. Well being that it was already late in the morning (almost 2 am) I asked if I could come late in the morning (10am) to pick up the remake order and she had no problem with me coming later. At approximately 9:30 am 1/2/24 I called to place my remake order with Ms. Kat over the phone as well as explained to her that I spoke to Ms. Christina (midnight manager) earlier regarding this order and that I would be on my way to pick up my order which was expected to be ready in 15 minutes (per Ms. Kat) Literally 2 minutes later I received a call from The manager “ALEX” who stated that he couldn’t remake my incorrect order and that he didn’t know if I really came to the restaurant. Well after repeatedly telling him I have proof of my receipt as well as he could pull up the cameras and call the manager Ms. Christina, “Alex” still refused to have my order remade. I then sat and waited due to customers being seated and “Alex” still ignored me as if I wasn’t visible. I asked could he please call the manager to verify what my order and he stated when he get time but yet he was standing around in front of the counter playing on his cellphone as well as communicating about me in creole to one of his cooks, while the cook kept smirking and laughing as he constantly looked at me. VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I was waiting for a simple remake order (2x2x2) from 9:55am-11:15am due to the manager “Alex” refusing to remake my order that was incorrect. Waited over an hour as well as being slandered and laughed at by him and one of the cooks who also speaks creole. I asked Alex could he give me a number to someone above him and he stated “There wasn’t anyone over him and that I would have to come back when Ms. Christina work again which would be tomorrow night 1/3/24. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN AND TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER THANK YOU FOR ASSISTING ME. Alex is a BIG EMBARRASSMENT TO IHOP companies. Read moreThis evening I decided to relax with a friend that I hadn't seen in years. We decided to stop by I hop after catching a show. When we arrived there was a young couple waiting to be sat. They let us know that no one had acknowledged them however, they were waiting. There appeared to be two servers and 1 cook on duty which didn't seem uncommon during the late night hours. After about 15 mins of waiting a group of guys entered the restaurant. They sat patiently knowing they had arrived after us. A waitress came over to seat the young couple and moments later the second waitress (older African American lady) came over attempting to seat the group of guys. They all said at the same time " they were next". I politely let the server know that we were next to be seated which she clearly had a problem with me saying that. She didn't acknowledge her mistake at all. She simply turned, started to walk away and said follow me. Moments later she returned to the area to seat the group of guys next to our table. She then began to take the guys orders before realizing she was about to make the same mistake again and corrected herself. After taking our order she moved back to the guys without ringing anything in. When it was time for the food to come out which was about 45 mins later, the server not only delivered the guys food first but she dropped half of my order off to their table. They had to tell her that the food belonged to my table. She then picked the food up and simply switched tables. It was another 10 mins before the rest of my food came out. Although I didn't say anything to her or make a scene it was evident that the service was horrible. She didn't even drop the checks in the correct order and attempted to make a joke by saying that'll be $1,000. To say it was a horrible experience and down right uncomfortable situation is an understatement. I'm not sure who manages this location or this server but I was shocked at how bad it was. She even demanded that we pay at the table vs walk to the register like she made the other two tables. I'm not sure if this was her trying to recover by saving us a few steps or her trying to secure a tip. I traditionally leave more than the standard tip however I only left the standard tip in this situation. Read moreHorrible location. Placed an order at 4:48 PM on Friday, May 15th 2020. Got my receipt in an email that said my order would be ready at 5:03 PM. Traffic was horrible, and I walked to the location. Got there at 5:11 PM, and the hostess had no idea I had made an order. She looked over to where the tickets pop out of the printer in a confused daze. She then took the ticket to her manager, who was also the chef--they were the only two employees at the restaurant, apparently--and came back and said I'd have my order soon. I could tell that she had no idea I'd made an order--nearly half an hour ago!--and she only admitted that my order hadn't even started to be made when I asked her. I demanded a refund. The hostess never apologized--not once--and the manager then went to the kitchen where there's an open window looking out towards the entrance/hostess stand and asked me "Are you sure? I can make it fast." I told her no, I will never come to this restaurant again and I am going to write a ton of bad reviews sharing my experience. I didn't have time to stay. I had somewhere to be. My question is this... what the Hell was the hostess doing? They were the only two people there, there were literally no customers in the restaurant and no other orders waiting to be picked up... I made my order at 4:48pm and got there at 5:11pm... that means the hostess literally didn't even glance at the online order printer for over 23 minutes! What was she doing? Had to be on her phone. What horrible customer service. I walked to the restaurant because I moved less than half a mile away from it. I would have been a repeat customer who went there at least once a week. Never again. I'm still waiting for the refund to show up on my card. It's amazing how they can instantly take money out of your account, but it always takes a week to go back onto your card. Wonder how much money the IHOP corporation makes in interest by holding onto people's money from all their screwups...
