The ice cream wasn't the problem..the service we received was.. A group of us had just finished enjoying dinner at a nearby restaurant and decided we were gonna get some ice-cream..so we ended up at this place...our group was eleven adults all over the age of fifty..Indians and Puerto Ricans (yes I had to mention that)..when we got there, we waited our turn to be served..and since it was our first time there we took the liberty to indulge in trying out some of the different flavors that were being offered...how dare us doing something like that...the tall red headed female serving us was visibly annoyed/irritated with a not very friendly attitude towards us...several of us noticed but we decided we weren't gonna let her ruin our night out...we could've said something but we didn't want to create a scene... I don't know and I don't want to assume but I have to ask..why the unwarranted discrimination towards us...I have an idea but I'll let you be the judge....everyone in our group individually has lived in the United States well over four decades with one being a retired veteran...we're just so sick and tired of having to deal with stuff like this...whatever you choose to call it..needless to say we're never going there again nor recommend it to our family...

We came at a time with no line which was great because another rush showed up shortly after. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and let me try a taste of the Mexican chocolate flavor I hear so much about. It is a very good and unique flavor. I wasn't quite in the mood for it this visit though and opted instead to get a scoop of mint chocolate chip in a small sugar cone. There was a generous serving of ice cream on the cone and it was very tasty. Some mint chocolate chip ice creams are lacking in the "chip" part. Not the case here! Every bite had plenty of chocolate chips and it complimented the creamy mint ice cream perfectly. My boyfriend got a scoop of peanut butter chocolate brownie in a cup. I tasted that and it was very rich and delicious.
The shop is small and there's not a ton of seating, but there is a nice outdoor patio area set up to accommodate people. The shop was clean and welcoming. I'll definitely return to get my...
Read moreKelly’s Ice Cream has been a longtime favorite on this corner, and for good reason, the ice cream is amazing! Their flavors are always rich, creamy, and downright delicious. I get excited every time they roll out something new.
That said, I'm still holding out hope for the return of my all-time favorite: PB&J & Chips. I ask about it every single time I visit, and the answer is always "We don't know!"—so sad! But even without it, every scoop we’ve tried has been a hit. Our family favorite is the Mexican Chocolate, with its warm spice and creamy texture, and the Key Lime Pie is another standout, rich, tangy, and refreshing and Cookie Monster.
The line usually moves quickly, and while parking is limited in front, there’s convenient parking across the street at the school if you’re just grabbing and going. The outdoor yard space is perfect for enjoying your treat, with large picnic tables and a giant Connect 4 game that kids and adults love. It’s also a super pet-friendly spot, which makes it even better.
If you haven’t stopped in yet, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best rich and creamy ice cream...
