We had to leave the foxtail hourglass location a couple days ago without ordering for lunch because there were five dogs inside of the eating area. It was every other table in the small dining area; three large dogs and two small dogs, not on the patio, actually inside. I have a friend with a serious dog allergy who was with me that day. I probably won’t be able to return not knowing that it’s going to be safe to eat there for my friends, and because they value dogs more than clients (with health issues) so I won’t be going back either out of respect, which is really sad because the food and drinks are delicious and finding vegan places to eat is difficult. I understand that accommodating dog lovers is nice but maybe they could restrict it to the patio area, this is something that I wanted to leave a review for in person, but when I asked at the front counter I was informed sorry about your friend’s allergies but we’ve decided to allow dogs inside. Which basically spells out we don’t care about the safety of our customers just the customers with dogs. He didn’t write down my feedback. So my choice was leave a review. I also tried emailing the foxtail website account to provide this feedback to which I still haven’t received a response. And I was informed by some of the other vendors in the shared hourglass space that they didn’t agree with it, so they already tried to discuss this with foxtail, who declined to try to accommodate the guests of a shared space. I DO NOT recommend this place to anybody with dog allergies indoor or outside. I’ve seen them place them on the benches for seating. I was really looking forward to putting money into Foxtail, Leguminati, Le Ky, and Tomale co because this is my home town and I love places like this. But foxtail’s dogs in the dining area policy won’t allow that. They should consider making an exception for this shared space since they aren’t the only vendors in that building and it’s very inconsiderate...

She hired her personal friend to sing and call that’s obnoxious because we clapped and praised him for his amazing voice but because we didn’t tip him after we were removed from the facility we are obnoxious and drunk!!!! Her name is Steph she locked us out the door and started clapping and laughing at us like she was two years old ! I wish that I could give less than one star I’ve never been treated this way and all my life. If you were to look at my Google reviews youd see how people are supposed. To be treated! i am a good soul I am a good person and all my reviews from all my customers show that I’m a good person I’m so glad that everybody can look at my history and where I have reviewed as a woman in customer service I go off of customer service. She only lets her best friends come in and get free booze and paying customers have no say in...
Read moreI would like to say a year later my now husband and I visit the same location every weekend and it is still, hands down, our favorite coffee place :)
This will be mine and my fiance's new go to coffee shop! After we got back from a trip to London we missed going to small or local coffee shops compared to the traditional Starbucks. Sadly near where we live there are only Starbucks and one day while in Winter Park I noticed the Foxtail location and urged that we should try it. But unfortunately that location is a 30 minute drive from us so we never got around to it. One day we were driving down Curry Ford on our way home and noticed the new location at the Hourglass District. The next day we went again. We had such a great experience that we even came back the following morning. The coffee was great (we both got iced lattes each time, but next time I might be adventurous and try something else). The staff was super friendly (especially Steph, hopefully I'm spelling her name right). I was also stoked to see Leguminati inside and that they sell pastry/baked goods from Valhalla Bakery! I've been dying to try Leguminati so we'll definitely be back for that. During our first visit we briefly talked to the girl there manning the bar area so to speak and she was super...
