I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review…
From the moment we arrived at Nami, the experience was flawless. Even though we showed up 20 minutes early, we were seated right away. I had mentioned ahead of time that it was my wife’s birthday, and every staff member who passed by wished her a happy birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the evening.
Our server, Mario, was outstanding. His calm demeanor, deep knowledge of the menu, and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. He walked us through each section, gave recommendations, and made the whole process feel effortless. Choosing dishes at a place like this can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Mario made it easy—and every single suggestion he gave was spot on.
We started with the cucumber salad and the lobster donuts. The salad looked exactly like the photos online, and the sauce was phenomenal. The lobster donuts were light, savory, and absolutely delicious—one of the highlights of the night.
Next, we tried the oysters and hamachi. The yellowtail was incredibly fresh, with a truffle ponzu sauce so good I could have sipped it from the bowl. The oysters, sourced from Washington, were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were so good, I had to order a second round before our entrées arrived.
For the main course, we shared the salmon and a 3oz cut of A5 steak. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tender enough to fall apart with a fork, and paired beautifully with the red ponzu sauce. The A5 steak was everything you’d expect—rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Served with an A5 demi-glace, it was a flawless pairing that showcased the care and skill behind the dish.
Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist dessert. We ordered the tropical fruit vacherin and the hot chocolate fondant. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The vacherin had fresh mango that made it bright and refreshing, while the chocolate fondant was decadent, with a molten center and a layer of matcha cream that balanced it perfectly. To top it off, the staff surprised my wife with extra ice cream and a candle to celebrate her birthday—a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot.

First, I want to commend Pablo, our server, for his excellent service. He was attentive, professional, and made our dining experience enjoyable. However, there was an issue with another staff member that I feel needs to be addressed.
This staff member, who came in between servings to clean the table and serve drinks, displayed behavior that was uncomfortable and intrusive. She would pour drinks over our shoulders, often leaning onto our backs without saying a word or asking permission. She also frequently reached across the table without saying “excuse me” and, on multiple occasions, elbowed me while wiping down the area in front of me. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this at your establishment with the same employee as it also occurred during a previous visit.
I had previously given your restaurant a 5-star review and still feel that way overall, which is why I chose to address this directly with you. I truly value the quality of your establishment and the wonderful dining experiences it typically provides.
While I appreciate the effort to maintain a clean and well-serviced environment, the lack of communication and personal space was quite unsettling. A simple acknowledgment, such as saying “excuse me,” would make a significant difference in ensuring guests feel comfortable and respected.
I wanted to bring this to your attention in the hope that additional training can be provided to ensure a consistently positive experience for all diners.

Read moreA time was had at Nami! I had one of the best girls night out that I’ve had in awhile. ✨ From beginning to end, the experience was phenomenal.
We started off waiting at the bar and ordered our first set of drinks (the Blush—highly recommended for its smooth delicious taste). The bartender was attentive, funny and kind and unbothered by our cheeriness, which I loved. The vibes were all there. Music wasn’t so high that you couldn’t hear the person next to you, the lights were dimmed, but there was still enough brightness that you could revel in a good selfie and the spaciousness felt just about right because you weren’t on top of others having dinner.
When we sat at our table the real fun began. Our waiter, Tyler, was phenomenal. Not only did he answer every single question we had (there were plenty) but he also gave us top notch recommendations that did NOT fail us. Everything we had was absolutely beyond amazing! Hats off to the chef because I’ve never had such mind blowing food and I’m a huge foodie! Tyler also indulged in all of our jokes and made some himself. Love a good waiter with a personality!
The sushi was excellent, highly recommend the yellowtail, tuna and salmon. The Nami nuggets were incredibly flavorful! The Tuna Pizza was a DELIGHT. The salmon was soft and juicy and not a single piece was left on my plate. The ribeye had this exquisite taste and the sea bass was so tender. Oof! What a treat. We practically had half the menu and we do not regret a single thing!
Dessert was also wonderful and there’s something beautiful about still having room for a sweet treat.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Nami because it’s worth the spend. The experience was top notch and I will be recommending it to all of my friends...
