Nuri's Tavern — Restaurant in Orlando

The pizza is one of the top 5 pizzas I've had in Orlando! They have definitely perfected the crisp tavern style crust and you can taste the quality of ingredients along with the dedication of getting these pies perfect! The mushroom pizza will be a weekly order for us. The wings are some of the freshest and crispiest I've ever had! There is a hint of lemon in almost everything we tried which was great, but odd. Call me old school or about to be 40, but the QR ordering and lack of personal interaction from staff may need some tweaking. You order on an app, from drinks to food to tip. There were several drinks that were forgotten and not made (our pizza came out before one of our guests ever had a drink) and then were asked to show them the order to make sure it was put in, an actual server taking orders would prevent prooving what we know we ordered. The "server" was almost scared to talk to our table, walking away as we were still talking to them. Not looking for fine dinning from a pizza joint but we like to be comfortable and personable when dinning out and the FOH team just didnt bring any of that. You pay online as well and for the tip to be standard and set at 20% (this is changable) for litterally placing your own order(s) is a bit offsetting as well. Okay, I’m not a thin crust pizza girl... I’m sorry, I just don’t get that filled feeling. BUT this pepperoni and jalapeño pizza? I’m converted. Honestly, just writing this review is making me crave it, hahaha 🍕😋. Alright, let’s talk wings – I went with the Buff-a-que, which is a saucy mix of buffalo and BBQ, and let me tell you, bomb 💥. Next time, I have to try the sticky chili crisp wings because I’ve heard those are next level 🔥.

Now, the pizza. The pepperoni & jalapeño pizza has to be my new favorite 🍕🔥. I love it so much, I’ll legit make the drive just for that pizza 🚗💨. I also tried the meat x3 and the double pepperoni – both were phenomenally good 😍. I couldn’t even finish it all – I only ate like 5 slices of that thin crust and I was surprised at myself. It was just that deliciously made. Next time, I’m going for the white base pizza, definitely gotta give it a shot.

The vibes? Taverny tavern vibes, lol. I remember this place during COVID when it was a coffee shop – now it’s all about pizza 🍕☕. The atmosphere is amazing, super chill ✌️. And the people? Nuri’s Tavern is hands-down one of my favorite spots in town. The food is absolutely delicious from the pizza that comes out hot and perfect every time, to the wings that are downright addictive, to the soft serve that’s the perfect way to end a meal. Every bite has that “just right” flavor that keeps me coming back.

But what makes Nuri’s even more special is the people. The staff goes above and beyond, and the GM honestly feels like that cool uncle everyone wishes they had laid-back, friendly, and always making sure things run smoothly. Huge shoutout to Roz and Dex too; they’ve kept me laughing at the bar more times than I can count. They make the place feel welcoming and fun every single visit.
