The Great Escape Room Orlando — Attraction in Orlando

Two of us played the cabin room (Mountain Top Murders) and loved it! There were some creative puzzles we hadn't seen before, despite having played dozens of different rooms across the country. Rule was a great GM for us, attentively helping us out not only with good clues, but also bypassing some troublesome equipment failures.

We had a great time, and this would be a 5/5 if not for the room being in a slight state of disrepair. Some puzzles took longer to solve than they should've because the equipment wasn't registering correctly until Rule intervened for us. For example, we knew how one kitchen stove puzzle was supposed to work and moved the dials accordingly, but it would not unlock until Rule manually triggered it for us. Other pieces of gear (like a grabber tool) were straight-up broken and required us to tie a knot in order to proceed. Seems like that room in particular could use a bit of maintenance and fixing. But none of this prevented us from having a great time.

Overall, the room was thematic and the puzzles were a lot of fun. We finished with just a few seconds to spare.

This place was pretty good! We did Mountain Top Murders and the room design was spot on! All of the puzzles were creative and fun to solve. It was just my boyfriend and I, they recommended 3-4 players for this room.

The room was also quite immersive when it came down to lighting, props and sound design.

I didn’t give 5 stars because there were a couple of times where we requested hints but didn’t get them promptly. We had to click the button on the iPad they gave us a couple of times. They also gave us two hints for a puzzle we already solved.

There was one puzzle that was also kinda touchy. We did successfully solve it but had to mess with it a bit before the door that was supposed to pop open did.

This is also just my personal experience/preference, but the one escape place we went to had actors that made the story seem more real. This place just tells you the background and good luck, lol. However, the light/sound effects make up for the lack of that...

First, Mikayla and Christina were so kind and accommodating. We messed up and scheduled our appointment on the wrong day. (Scheduled for Monday but we came on Tuesday and missed notification from them) however they were still able to get us into another room that was available. I expect they can’t do every time if they are already booked but we were so grateful they were kind despite our mistake. Second, it was so much fun! The place looks so cool! My husband and I went to the presidential poker night room. It was very challenging and you really have to think outside the box and be observant. Though challenging it was still so much fun!!Although we did not complete the challenge in the 60min we will be back! After our time was up Christina showed us the clues to finish what we were missing. We bought our encore tickets so we can return at $25 a ticket anytime we want. We did have to pay $10 parking for a public parking garage...
