I sincerely loved this place, at first I felt out of place since no one is willing to assign you a table which makes the arrival a bit confusing. Once we were seated we were attended by a very nice guy offering water and explaining a little about the theme of the restaurant and cocktails. I loved the vibes of the place, the fact that all the plants was natural, I loved it, I liked the decoration, the relaxed atmosphere, the people etc. We started with cocktails the Thrive O'clock somewhere and the LSDream both very good accompanied by the first appetizers the Milk of the Tiger and the Whats Kraken? wow I must say that you can see the freshness of all the ingredients the flavors were an explosion of pleasure on our palate, we continued to taste cocktails the silky smooth was not my favorite but it was good and the citrus protection was the most refreshing I tried. We decided to try other appetizers the Soy Boys with truffles and parmesan and the Miss Tunaverse again the balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients in perfect balance, the texture of the guacamole was simply perfect For main course we ordered 2 Sushis the slammin salmon roll and the sea monster roll this second was my favorite simply perfect and delicious, we also ordered some tuna sliders and delicious truffles. To finish we should repeat the Kraken whats? Because it has been the best octopus dish we have tried by far, for dessert a nutty professor and the best oldfashioned that I have tried made with ginger, pear juice and chamomile infusion, 20 points in all guys, keep going love the place, the food, the vibes and the service by Hunter thanks

Stopped into Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery for brunch during a quick day trip to Orlando, and it was a great choice. The energy was perfect—good music playing to set the vibe but not obnoxiously loud, and the crowd was more young adults with not a kid in sight, which made for a really enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. The drink menu here is solid. I had both an espresso martini and a margarita, and both were delicious with generous pours—definitely not the kind of place that skimps on the good stuff. For food, I went with a mix of sushi and a brunch dish, and it was a mostly great experience: • Up to Dumpling (Steamed Short Rib Gyoza, Ginger, Garlic, Cabbage, Ponzu, Microgreens) – Wow, this was fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the short rib was incredibly tender. • Your Highness (Tempura Shrimp, Kani, Cream Cheese, Tempura Flakes, Seared Rare Top Sirloin, Truffle Mushrooms) – Another hit. Unique, well-balanced flavors with just the right mix of textures. • King of the Castle (Top Sirloin, Pair of Fried Eggs, Hollandaise, Sweet Potato Hash) – This was the only letdown of the meal. It was a bit bland, and I found myself wishing I had just ordered another sushi roll instead. Overall, Thrive is a fantastic spot for brunch if you’re looking for great drinks, great sushi, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to when in Orlando!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars and would have if solely based on the food originality and quality of flavor. One of the things I like about this place is that it's a scratch kitchen, which I always appreciate when dining out. The menu was a little limited in my mind and didn't have any veggies to offer. We came here during lunch and started off with the "Up to Dumpling" appetizer and it was simply delicious! Unfortunately, it was only 4 pieces. For my meal, I ordered the "Truffle Bag Boy Sliders" and they were AMAZING! My wife ordered the "Send Noodz" and it was equally as yummy and tasty. The portions are very small, which I am usually OK with most of the times but I certainly think that the dish portions here could have been a wee bit bigger. Our waitress was the sweetest but unfortunately she kept frequently coughing in her hands and then would serve us our dishes without even washing. In addition, during the whole time we were there, half the place was smoky and hazy inside, which I think was due to the kitchen possibly burning something? Overall, the place is pricey for what you get although with a little TLC and some and changes here and there, I think this place could easily be 5 stars!

Pre-made processed food disguised as ready to order fresh whole food- mostly hype less substance.

Came here after hearing about this from a few folks here and there over a period of time. I guess I should definitely place more value into WHO I’m getting the reviews from and their palette and sophistication. While I wasn’t expecting Michelin type food, I can absolutely agree with a fellow reviewer who states that the photos are misleading re the quality of the food that gets out in front of you at this establishment.

The service was extremely poor with a bunch of people scrambling around and leaving us to sit for OVER 15 minutes. Definitely NOT OK and far from a tight- ship. No one came over in 18+ minutes and I had to get up twice to see about service Red Flag # 1…(ties into red flag #3 just wait ) then shockingly as soon as we placed our orders within LESS than half the time of our wait (maybe 8-10 minutes?! ) the food starts coming out?! Wait, did someone else order what we ordered and just skip out so we got lucky? LOL I don’t think so. Red Flag #2.

The food LOOKED great and much of it was tasty but the tuna seems unfresh and getting the cooked shrimp seems like the best idea with this fast sushi though even that seems like it was re plated from the local Pubkix sushi bar. The pork belly was mostly hard and the mochi wings was more mochi less wings- Everything was very overly processed (high gluten-y and sodium tasting) Nothing was fresh or made to order. Made to order neighborhood Chinese takeout would have been a clear winner.

Within about 20 min (about the same time it took her to get to us to begin with) the waitress began her consistent check ins - about every annoying 10-15 minutes During our maybe 45 min -1 hour full EAT time. She then explains she’s OFF really soon so could she give us the bill!!! Wow! I realize I don’t even want to be there any longer so I just pack our stuff to hot foot it OUT of there and see there’s a surcharge of 18%_ Red Flag #3. Ahhhh! No wonder they don’t care about whether you get properly serviced or NOT!

Won’t be coming back here u less I’m wasted and want the bloats, farts and burps the next day from all the sodium, glutens and whatever else this terrible processed stuff has in it. Considering the location it’s probably the best bet for the crowd it serves. I wasn’t prepared with my booze...
