Pour Choice Taphouse — Restaurant in Orlando

I’m not going to lie. I was very excited to come here. I came all the way from Miami because I had seen it on my Instagram, but it was a complete disappointment. When I got there the two main options for the cocktails, which were the espresso martini, thin mint flavor, and banana pudding flavor, the banana putting flavor was out when we got there. Mind you we got there an hour after opening. So that was pretty wild the main flavor that we had gone there for was out so early in the evening especially on a Saturday . The bartender did say that he had to make another batch but that it would take several hours to do. I asked him if he can just make a single banana pudding espresso martini, and I would pay for it individually and he said he actually didn’t have the ingredients to make the drink so I’m a little confused as to how he was going to batch it for the rest of the night. There were also a lot of other options that were out and couldn’t be tried. It was definitely underwhelming. This is such a great concept. When you arrive, you check in at the bar, open a tab, and receive a RFID wristband. From that point on the wall of taps is at your disposal. You just tap your wristband and pour as much or as little as you want. The tap wall also has glass rinsing stations so your next taste unaffected by your previous one. Nick was tending the bar last night and explained everything extremely well. He was super friendly and available if we needed any assistance. The self pour/pay by the ounce system at Pour Choice gives you the ability to try beers or ciders you may not normally order, but once you find something you like you can fill up your glass, settle in, and make use of the board and card games that are available. A great local taphouse with a huge selection, great prices per ounce, and amazing service. The service is really great I've always had plenty of clean glasses to pour my own beer and cider. The NFC band model is super easy to use and they have plenty of stuff along side the drinks board games, sports games, and an outdoor drinking area in the back!

The people remember return customers and are super sociable I've enjoyed all my conversations with the employees here and they always make me feel super welcome which helps this place feel like part of the community rather than just a bar or taphouse. Also they do deals for UCF watch parties so if you and some knights can't make it to a game there's always this place.

The parking on the street can be a little short but there's a big lot in the back and this area is pretty central to alot of cool things like the record store next door and alot of great local...
