Tasty Wok — Restaurant in Orlando

Extremely unprofessional, aggressive, and disgusting behavior by the older female waitress. Started harassing and screaming at us and demanding more tip for herself in front of the entire restaurant after we paid, although she wasn't the one who served us. She went on a long 10-minute tangent demanding more money for a tip for herself with a table she didn't serve, about how she makes no money working here and that we owe her more money. It was unbearable at the least. She was berating us and being extremely rude saying "do you know tips are at this percent" in a very condescending and rude tone.

I politely requested a refund for my to go order during her tangent as she made us so extremely uncomfortable - it was unbearable to wait there for our food. She responded while yelling aggressively that she won't give us a refund as we gave the order too late and the kitchen started making it already. The order was one soup dish and the restaurant closed in 4 hours.

One of the guests with me tried to calm the situation down and speak to her very respectfully, however she didn't let them speak, she was so disrespectful and demeaning. She screamed at them that they were wrong, and talked over them. I have never seen such unprofessional and disgusting behavior.

She stood in the corner and stared us down and gave us dirty looks as we left. She slammed our To-go order on the table. Completely ruined our evening honestly and made us very uncomfortable. I regret coming here and wish I could get my money back. Will definitely be warning others to not come here. I have never experienced anyone demanding more tip to be given to them. There have been many reviews about her behavior and management has done nothing as she is still continuing to do this. I don't know how she still has a job there.

I have tried contacting management to report this, however, their phone line doesn't work. I do not recommend going to this restaurant unless you want to be harassed and have an extremely horrible experience. Do not waste your hard earned...

A group of friends and I were in search of a restaurant to spend our thanksgiving. We saw that this restaurant had exactly what we were looking for food wise. Upon walking in the atmosphere was very gloomy but we still decided to stay. We had an older lady as our waitress, the first thing she said to us was “is it all one check” when we said no her expression became sour. When she brought out our drinks she forgot a couple drinks. She came back to take our orders and would not let us order anything unless it was straight from the menu. I had asked for sesame chicken but instead of rice I asked for the pan fried noodles. Before I can even finish my sentence she cut me off and said no it only comes with white rice in a negative tone. As she went around the table, she would not accommodate any meal changes nor let us just order the meat and side separate, it would be considered the meal in which they would not change. Because of her attitude and the fact that they unfortunately could not make any changes for us, we decided to pay for our drinks and find a different restaurant more fitting for our cravings. She then started making comments under her breath such as “you came to the wrong restaurant” and “this is unbelievable” when the checks came she chased down on of the members at our table saying he forgot to tip her. She then stood over me as I was filling out my check and asked “only a dollar?” On my $2.66 tab. Which I thought was generous given everything that occurred. Tasty Wok was one of my favorites when I could get to this side since I live over an hour away. I always get takeout garlic rib tips, chitterlings with picked veg, and the fish filet with ginger/scallions. Im not sure if its under new management or if they have new cooks. Nothing that I ordered tasted or looked like it usually does. The chitterlings with vegetable was horrible neither my husband or I liked it. We both ate 1 spoonful and threw it away. The fish was ok but not the usual. It had a ton a bell peppers in it which it usually doesn't. Seemed like a different fish too.. Also now has black beans and jalapeños in it which I wasn't expecting. My 4 yr old loves the fish filet but could not eat it because of the jalapeños. That left me looking for an alternative for his dinner. The garlic rib tips were good but still seemed different. Think it has more flour or cornstarch on them now which wasn't too bad but still prefer the original version. So not sure whats happened Over the last for month but don't think I'll be visiting in the near future. Too far of a drive if the food isn't what I'm use to getting.
