Never been to Ming Bistro, but had a hankering for dim sum! Walking in, the hostess was standing at the door with a notepad, taking names and party numbers for a waitlist. I was maybe 3rd or so on the list and I probably waited 25-30 mins, it was about 11am or so and I believe most days they open at 9:30am. You have to note that they are a smaller dimsum restaurant so the wait will be longer than expected. When seated, there was lots of hustle and bustle of staff and customers. After a few minutes, a server came by and took our drink order, two waters and hot tea. A minute later, a woman with a dimsum cart came by and we ordered multiple dim sum items, because at that point we were hungry and ready to go! I can't remember all the dishes, but we got the usual chicken feet, shrimp and pork dimsum, steamed sticky rice, and more. After she placed the items down, she marked the meals on our dimsum sheet, and scurried away to another table. Not a second later, the waitress brought us back waters and a pot of hot tea. Their timing was pretty stellar! I was close to almost eating before drinking. The dim sum tasted fresh and delicious, no complaints here! Nothing out of the ordinary, but nonetheless was good. The second cart came with more of the veggies, fried items and dessert. We got the fried shrimp balls, covered in wonton strips and 3 egg tarts. The fried shrimp balls was really good! It tasted freshly fried and had a soft texture, and was somehow juicy! Delicious! The egg tarts was good too, but instead of a flakey crust, it seemed to have a sugar cookie-type crust. Not bad but interesting.

Overall, the staff was very hard working and they did their best to make a great flow. The food was good so I will most likely make a trip back again. Try not to come during peak meal times or you'll be waiting outside with the rest...

We read many reviews before choosing this one for our first trip in Orlando. We tried another dimsum place too in MCO but this one is so much better (one of the solid choice compared to dimsum in Vancouver, BC and NW area). We liked most of our dishes and really recommended this place if you look for a good dimsum place in Orlando (25’ from MCO airport). Things must order includes:

Roasted duck (juicy, crispy skin, great flavor), roasted pork (crunchy skin and nice layered pork belly), charsiu - bbq pork (yummy juicy). Pork congee: kiddos love it! Perfect congee - creamy/meaty and taste good, not watery or too thin like other places. Meat is in pieces not ground pork, really good. Deep fried shrimp cakes: huge ones and delicious!!! Best I’ve had so far. Attempted to pack 1 more to go but we dont wanna miss our flight.. Stuffed eggplants with shrimp paste: the skin is a bit chewy fibery but shrimp paste and sauce taste good. Ha gow is good but smaller than expected. Siu mai: good chunky meat makes its texture nice and flavorful Shrimp rice paste (should be edited to rice rolls pls to avoid confusion): the least fav in our order or many we were too full.. We came at 2pm so not many people, no waiting, about 15’ wait for cooking our orders. Totally acceptable and good thing they handed congee first while waiting for the rest. We saw they were making siu mai right at the table next to us which is cool. The only con is restaurant is at smaller size and a bit outdated. If they can update the lights or some more furnishings, it will make it perfect..Lots of...

I have been to this restaurant few times before with the previous owner. Tonight, I have friends from out if town wanting to eat Chinese foods so I called spoke to a lady at this restaurant to make reservations & the lady confirmed that we can come in to eat. Within few min someone from this restaurant called asking if we were close by because the kitchen will be close soon & I said to her we are only a few mins away. She hang up & called back again within 2-3 min asking if she can take our orders first. I said to the waitress that my friends were at the parking lot of her restaurant & they would like to look at the menu to place order. As we got in the restaurant with a party of 7 people & finally sat down at the table as the waitress instructed. .Few min later, she than asked if we can move to another table for no reason while we already sat down. She than came with an angry face and rushing us to take order & said we have to hurry. She said to us that she doesn’t care what happened to us prior & just needed to take the order now. I have never been to any restaurants & get treated so badly by this rudest waitress at Ming Bistro. The way she were treating us so poorly so we decided to leave the restaurant.

Please do not go here......This waitress should be fired & should never serving people when she has no skills. I am so disgusted by the way she treated her customers. I will not recommend anyone to go to eat here. The customer...
