(12/23) This was my first and final visit to Kirkman Winghouse. Passed a few people dining on patio and entered only to find absolutely nobody at the podium. Could see open spaces at the bar, so continued back and had a seat. A total of eighteen minutes passed without being recognized in any way whatsoever (well, minus the gent seated to my left). The two female team members completed several tasks, including organizing some beer bottles, getting a few drinks together for a to-go order, counting tip money, getting beers for two walk-up customers, and some idle chitchat. I decided to leave and go elsewhere. After a long day of work, I had a rare craving for beer and wings and decided to visit here because it's close to my home and the holiday traffic took several places out of my options. I'm not sure how you can totally ignore someone for that long at a bar that is not very busy. "It is what it is". I ended up farther down Kirkman at a wing chain, and it was a very easy experience. They had excellent service, refreshing beer, and tasty wings. They understand service. Winghouse Kirkman was simply pathetic to me on this particular night. They chose the level of service. I choose the wording of a fair and honest review. This will last longer than my personal...
Read moreI hardly ever review but I am reviewing today to express serious concerns regarding the treatment my party experienced at Wing House Kirkman Road. With the start of football we have been regular patrons but for the past two weeks, we have faced repeated harassment from one of the managers, Luvia Gameros.
Most recently, Sunday, Ms. Gameros escalated the situation by calling the police and having our party trespassed without cause. What’s more troubling is that she openly chastised our group, stating that Wing House is “not a sports bar” and that patrons are expected to sit down and be quiet— despite others not facing the same treatment. This situation is particularly alarming as it seems my group was singled out, being the only group targeted during these incidents, which raises concerns that there may be racial motivations involved.
We have been loyal customers, frequently spending considerable time and money at your establishment, and now we have been subjected to public humiliation, unjust harassment, and a trespass on record for no valid reason.
If you're looking to go out and have a good time, this place is not is as long as Luvia is there. This treatment is unacceptable and not in line with the standards we expect from The Wing...
Read moreThe only redeeming quality was the server Destiny. Party of 8, half the food was cold or not prepared according to the menu. The manager on duty Eric was a complete and utter disrespectful clown. Instead of trying to remedy the situation he chose the most non-managerial route which was to blame the server. He then chose to walk off when we, the patrons, asked to talk to him. His next great idea was to threaten us with calling the cops if we didn't pay for the food. Let's be clear 2 out of 8 of us had our correct food. We gave him and the kitchen staff multiple opportunities to correct the orders. The arriving manager Juan did the right the right thing which was listen to our concerns and then tried to fix it. He comped our food and to prove a point we gave our server a fantastic tip. I surely hope the owners/district manager see this review and promptly reply.
Thank you for replying but this is my review not my wife's.
Your response is extremely generic and didn't address any of what I wrote, but thanks anyway I'll just do...
