Pirana Grill — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

Waked I’m around 8pm to grab dinner with my girlfriend. Only one other table with 4 people eating inside. We seated ourselves and waited 10 minutes before I got up to ask someone who was working for menus. About 5-7 more minutes passed before a waitress came up to take our drink order. We told her we’re ready to order our food as well. She told us to hang on and insisted on coming back for food order. She then disappeared for about 10 more minutes in which time I saw her deliver another tables food, go behind the bar and chit chat with a few people at the bar. Then answered the phone to take a call in order. To top it off she then went into the back and was getting ice for the bar. Me and my girlfriend left at this point. There were 2 guys working the bar and another guy at the front station answering for call ahead orders. So there’s no reason she needed to be behind the bar or taking phone orders. This would have been my second time coming here. Sadly I will never be back and will never recommend this place to anyone again. Terrible organization...

We were traveling in on the last part of our 10-hour drive. We needed a good dinner and searched around our accommodation. This was one of the few options that were open past 9pm. Sadly, other restaurants close much too early. This location stays open later as it's an active bar. GPS sent me around to many back roads, but we had called ahead for the order. I parked and was confused about where to pick up the order. Since there were a lot of loud folks drinking outside, I found a door and walked inside. I was greeted immediately with a smile and a friendly attitude. I said I had a take out order, and they knew exactly who I was. I only waited a moment, and the nice lady checked me out. The order was accurate and delicious!!!!!!!! I was surprised for a bar. The food caught me off guard. Everyone enjoyed the food and especially the Ranch dressing. I had so many people rave about this place. My son and I stopped for lunch while we were christmas shopping. I loved the atmosphere but the service was terrible for such a slow day. We sat at the bar and after five minutes finally were waited on. We ordered two beers and that took ten minutes, not exaggerating either, we were told the beer had to settle. We understand that but never had it take that long at other restraunts. My son then had to get her attention for menus. He ordered a shrimp quesadilla with no cheese and asked if they could just replace cheese with more onion and she said no problem. Customer's shrimp quesadilla next to us looked great. My son's came and had barely any shrimp or onion. He then saw he was charged a buck fifty for the onion be didn't receive. My son is a server as well and had every reason to complain but he didn't.
