The new owners have kept a great many of the wonderful brunch offerings. I am looking forward to trying them for dinner later this week.
The flights of mimosas are still options and there are several creative combinations. Our omelettes, quiches and sides were all delicious. Generous, but not overly large portions. The omelettes were each filled with lots of the options we chose. I might have liked a bit more kick to the jalapeños in mine - but that is personal preference. The berries in the fresh fruit cup were plentiful and sweet. Be aware that there is a small up charge for the fresh fruit that is not listed on their current menu. And if you visit when there is live music, you might not hear your server tell you about it.
In fact my only suggestion for improvement is for the new owners to find a way to reduce the volume of the music. There are many ways to play a piano softly & allow normal conversations to take place.
I went back on a weekday night and was pleased that the background music was kept at the perfect volume. My Vine burger was scrumptious. Juicy, beefy & flavorful- but not really greasy. The burger really shown through. Perhaps the secret ingredient is the brisket? The fries were tasty, and I am not usually a fry person. They were thin and crispy. Not very greasy either. I also really enjoyed a glass of Bad Dog red blend wine. And I was impressed with the very generous pour for the price.
I will try to...
Read moreFirst time eating here - Sunday brunch with visiting friends. Very busy place - recommend reservations, although they accommodated us without one. Space is pretty small with close tables. Menu was diverse and creative - especially if you like pancakes. We started with a flight of pineapple blend mimosas, which were fabulous! Our friends had omelettes which were huge and loaded with meats and veggies and served hot with stretchy cheese. Hubby had chicken salad croissant - sounded great, but was only average - chicken was super fine (more the consistency of tuna) and the only noticeable ingredient other than chicken was the dried cranberries. Side salad was very generous. My Biscuits with Sausage Gravy and eggs entree was very disappointing - looked and tasted like the same biscuits and gravy on hotel hot bars - thin gravy with bits of sausage over thin and small biscuits which weren’t served hot. Honestly, Hardee’s makes better biscuits and sausage gravy! Atmosphere would have been great with the live piano music had the musician played any smooth jazz or melodic selections at a volume appropriate for the size of restaurant - the music was so loud and choppy, you could barely converse with those at your own table. All-in-all, a somewhat pleasant (although noisy)...

Myself and Little Wings decided to stop in one night and was met at the door by a young lady, Joni, she said she was actually shutting down but she was tbere with her parents Tom and Beth a great couple. I mentioned we didn’t want to take away from her going home. She insisted that we have a glass of wine. It really had to be a most memorable evening with the stories told and the feeling of love that Joni and Mark have for their customers, not say you could feel the proudness of Joni's parents. Little Wings and I haven't felt so welcomed in such a long time. This place is a real home run. We have been back and are making this place a staple. Their wine list great and they have a special for food each night along with their menued delights.
KUDOS TO JONI, HER PARTNER, AND MATE MARK. WHEN THERE LET THEM KNOW THAT E.T. AND LITTLE WINGS LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR THE LOVE THEY SPILL OUT AND A GREAT MEAL. OH, AND BY THE WAY IF TOM AND BETH ARE THERE JUST WAIT FOR THE PROUD SMILES ON THEIR FACES OVER THEIR LITTLE GIRL, AND HER SUCCESS. TELL TOM AND...
