Art Spotlight — Attraction in Ormond Beach

We had our wedding at Art Spotlight in May of 2023. From start to finish and even follow up the next day, Teri, Thays, and Jon were top notch. Their communication was prompt and they answered questions before I even knew I had them! I LOVED being able to completely design the floor layout by using their movable walls and creating the perfect frame for the isle! They even allowed me to pick the piece of artwork that hung behind us during the ceremony! That was such a unique and personal touch!

The day of our wedding, I arrived to the studio set up just the way I envisioned it, there was some veggies and dip to snack on and waters available. The owners of Art Spotlight worked very well with our vendors when they arrived, and they were able to get set up and start their tasks on time. They even had a candle lit to fill the air with an incredible scent made by one of their artists in the gallery! Another memorable touch that I’ll remember every time I smell teakwood from now on!

When our guests arrived, they were shown where to be and welcomed by drinks and hors d’oeuvres while waiting for the ceremony to start. The gallery had a stand alone bar we were able to use to serve drinks. Being in an art gallery made for some incredible photo ops for our guests as well as our wedding photos! They had a TV by the food playing a slideshow of photos we had provided and had a spot for us to have a cellist to play live music.

After our ceremony, we all went next door for food at the local restaurant, Kona. Cleanup for our ceremony was a complete breeze! They had collected all the items neatly so it wasn’t complete chaos for me to load into the car. What really put the Cherry on top for me was the follow up the next day! I had forgotten a few items and came by to pick them up and they had them set aside, had the sand dumped out of the canisters already for me, and the shells bagged up! SO SWEET!

Our guests had a blast, we had a day and evening we’ll never forget and Thays, Teri, Jon, and Art Spotlight will always hold a special place in our hearts. I highly highly highly recommend this gallery as a wedding venue!

My wife and I had our first customer appreciation holiday party in Thays França’s Ormond Beach art gallery two years ago. In 2022, Thays and co-founder, Teri Althouse, created a beautiful, larger space across the street - Art Spotlight. Not only were we able to expand our guest list and give our caterer more room to work, but the gallery was an elegant backdrop for our second event. They offer a delightful and unique venue for special occasions throughout the year. I can’t recommend them...

One of the most entertaining galleries I've visited. We went for 1st Saturday Art Walk. Great layout with some themed art up front and then groupings of other artist's works throughout the rest of the gallery. Met the two very talented owner/artists along with quite a few other artists.

Artwalk was a great time to shop and talk with the artists as well as with some of the other guests. Plus, they had wine and snacks. Looking forward to making this our regular 1st...
