Customer service was not an issue, employees were respectful and helpful. However products and service were extremely overpriced in my opinion. I came in to buy a tire an inner tube. The tire costed $55 as compared to $35 on amazon. After installing the tire on the wheel, the mechanic offered to put the wheel on the bike. I presumed this would be a complimentary service considering it's not a very difficult service and I just spent nearly $70 on a tire+tube. At every other bike shop I've been to I've never been charged for these types of easy services, following an expensive purchase. To boot I was not told that I would be charged $30 to put the wheels on. All in all I came in trying to buy a tire and ended up spending $100. Extremely poor business practices, go to the "Bike Shop" around the corner.
EDIT: 12/10/19 In response to "Ray" from David World's Cycle responding to my 1 star review from over a year ago. In the past year I have gone to work at two separate bike shops in the Central Florida area as a bike mechanic. My experience speaking with former DWC customers and employees has only solidified my opinion of DWC as a bottom tier shop. I find it interesting that "Ray" waited over a year to respond to my review, only underscoring the terrible customer service I received many moons ago. This late response caused me to re-read my original review. It appears that I forgot a critical part of my trip, I preformed the labor that DWC charged me $30 for. For those familiar with single-speed bicycles you will know that when installing the rear wheel there is no derailleur to pick up the chain slack, and you must set the chain tension by correctly adjusting the rear axel in the dropouts. It appeared as though the mechanic installing my wheel was not familiar with this concept (showing the proficiency of DWC mechanics), and I actually offered to show him. He obliged and I stepped behind the counter and correctly set my rear wheel myself, showing the mechanic how. As in my original review I was charged $30 for the labor. If you actually want to make this right and to change your image send me a message about refunding my $30 labor charge I should have never been...

He's Brilliant he sorted all the sensors on my Bontrager Trip 300 computer and bike check over the valves for me. He also hooked me up with a pair of replacement cycling shoes from Trek since my Shimano SH-XC-701's don't seem to be available anymore. Not only that he threw the cleats on for me and adjusted the tension on the release mechanism as I don't like them to be too tight.
Tyler was absolutely phenomenal he had time for all of my naive questions on once making me feel uncomfortable for asking them. This store is now officially my goto for any kind of question or need I may have around cycling.
The rest of the team I have met are awesome they are all passionate about cycling and helping their customers now I know where that essence comes from . Tyler is rocking this store like a boss!! pun intended
What a fantastic shop the team are so knowledgeable and friendly. I popped in having never been here before needing new tires I left with a wealth of knowledge and advice on how to up my riding game. Thanks to Aaron for sorting me out with a pair of riding cloves and the new tires what a great lad. and thanks to Chris. for all the advice to concentrating on my cadence instead of speed. It really worked I did what you said and I am up 4mph al ready :) . I couldn't be happier and will be purchasing an upgrade of my Trek Domane from this store when it's time. Great customer service if you don't pay this store a visit when you're looking for a new bike, you're doing yourself...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have to put a caveat on my old review in light of the fact I've had a problem with my Electra beach bike which is less than a year old, and ol' Dave's wasn't very accommodating. The chain and part of the cog is already completely rusted. I anticipated that Dave's response would be that it's par for the course living on the beachside. However, that would have been a satisfactory response 1) if the bike wasn't still new and 2) there are 2-20 year old bikes sitting in my garage that have been riding on the beach for many years, and there isn't a bit of rust on them. Dave's response to that was "well, they don't make them like that any more." So, the admission that quality has deteriorated is almost laughable, higher price means less quality. I bet bike manufacturers would love to hear their reps making that admission. In any case, I inquired about the price for a new anti-rust chain and he said it would cost $15. Now, you would think that for $15, they could have put that chain on a $400 bike and raised the price a bit; or you would have thought that in the spirit of good customer relations, ol' Dave's World Cycle could have coughed up for $15 anti-rust chain. Instead, I just got attitude from the...
