I am so happy I didn't pay attention to the horrible reviews posted weeks prior to my arrival here. This place has it all and at the right price! We stayed out on the beach all night. We only booked one day and ended up staying 3 days because we enjoyed our visit so much! Our daughter enjoyed the pool and being able to play on the beach all day long. Stores are super close and you have everything you ever need. Our first room was on the 4th floor and had beautiful views. The 3rd day we switched to the bottom corner room and wow! For under 100 we had 2 beds, couch, love seat, desk, full kitchen, beautiful views of ocean and pool, patio with furniture, and free breakfast! I will always come back here on my way to visit Family in FL. The work they are doing around the building didn't bother me one bit and you can't even hear it. The scaffolding looks bad,but it is safe and let's you know they are taking time to make improvements. 4 things I would fix is more water pressure to the shower outside from when you are returning from the beach and want to get sand off of you. 2nds would be some type of air in the elevator. 3rd would be a light in the kid pool and side for when it gets dark. The big pool was lit up, but still needs more lighting in that back corner towards rooms. Lastly I would suggest having pool towels outside for guest, there was none the whole time we were here. All in all I am impressed with the quality we received for the amount of money we spent. Thank you! ❣️

Our room was clean, spacious and looked remodeled. The beds were comfortable. I loved the view from our balcony. It was nice that we had a kitchen but there were no spoons, small plates, or glasses. The front desk said that people steal such things. They made no mention of replacing them. The door to our room stuck terribly. Every time we went to open it, there was a battle. A couple times it took me awhile to get out of the room, and I thought I might have to call the front desk to rescue me. The staff said that the salt air and humidity was the cause, and they did not try to remedy the situation. They gave me $20 off my bill for my troubles. The dining area was nice and looked remodeled, and the breakfast was good. The pool was nice, but other outside areas weren't. The walkways needed attention as did the stairs, which were discolored and had chunks of concrete missing. The elevator had graffiti in it and made annoying noises when the door closed or opened. I assumed that this place was still in the process of redoing things, so I'm hopeful that the outside areas will be addressed. The parking lot and walkways were very dark at night. The staff told me that this had to do with "turtle laws"--that the turtles were affected by light. It seemed unsafe. The staff was courteous, even if though they weren't going to solve the door issue for us or future customers. Maybe new doors and hardware will be part of the continued renovation.

We had a great stay! My mom and I came down July 2022 last minute. We were on the first floor three doors down from the patio to the beach. The pool was nice and a good temperature for it being 90 degrees outside. The parking lot is small but that’s not really a big deal to me. We were on the beach for about an hour then I was in the pool on a float for 4 hours haha yes I got a sunburn. I would stay here every time I visit if able to. That’s why I’m writing this now, I looking to book again haha Some of these reviews for here and other locations are ridiculous. $143 a night ON THE BEACH IN JULY, is a pretty good deal. We have been a lot of places/beaches so I know what’s normal and some of these are down right outlandish lies. If you stay here I would recommend the first floor(I hate stairs especially with wet feet)it’s right off the parking lot and that much closer to the ocean. I don’t recall any sounds of guests or construction even though it was happening. DEFINITELY wear sandals to the actual sand because the concrete/bricks are hot as hell(which should be obvious since it’s Florida in July). The room was clean, the beds were so comfortable. A rug in the room at the door would be the suggestion i have.

Worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. We rented two suites over 4500 dollars for a week. First room the room flooded from the air conditioner. We called the front desk they sent maintenance up to fix it. The only thing he did was shop vac up the water and said let them if still leaks. The next morning we woke up and whole room was flooded when I went to get up make my grandson a bottle I fell. They switched us rooms to the one next to it. After moving everyone and everything we turned on the oven to make breakfast the back burner started to spark my husband turned the oven. I grabbed a oven mit to see if the burner was loose it’s shocked me so bad called the front desk they sent the maintenance man again who said let me look after he pulled the stove out he realized that the ground wire from the burner was disconnected. He plugged it in and said it should work now. Nope it didn’t then my husband asked for a new stove they let us know they didn’t have one and we should prolly go out to eat. I let them know we are on vacation and aren’t planning on eating out every meal !! Considering we have 15 people in our group. We demanded a new oven so we could cook took over two hours. After finally dealing with that we made breakfast from crusty stove and oven which the oven made some of the food have a very bad taste. Then after a long a day at the beach we go to get in bed and pull out the sofa couch for our son and there is dirty undies in it. Called the front desk they sorry didn’t offer anything different. In our other suite my brother and his kids stayed none of the tvs worked they couldn’t tell us why or try to fix them. My brother was staying in the biggest suite they had , it two door in front of one of the doors was old air conditioning units just piled up. The whole trip was for Disney world. So after two days of pure hell in ghetto and all the family had arrived we went to Disney the next day. We had all been swimming by the pool. I had asked the front desk if we could leave the life jackets and baby floatys goggles they said yes. We got back from Disney around 9 the kids wanted to swim all of there stuff and as gone. There was new staff working they said that would make a report and talk to The front desk in the morning. The next morning we went to talk to them I stopped one of the house keepers on my way she told she had picked up and threw it away I said why would you do that , I said where is the trash I will get it out , she said trash came already . I went to the front desk they didn’t understand either why she would do that. They told me to let me know the value of the stuff. The next morning I was having coffee with my family and the lady the housekeeper had brought me all of our belongings which I thought so weird because she said he trash came. We went to Disney again came back and the manager was working nights. She had told us to check our belongings because the same house keeper who stole our belongings but gave them back was caught stealing 3000 dollar out of some ones room. I would just be careful where you book a stay my husband is platinum member we thought we where getting a nice stay with the amount of...

This was supposed to be a nice birthday weekend getaway with my man that didn’t go as planned! Checked in on Friday evening around 7:30! The clerk at the desk was nice and friendly! She swiped my card advised it didn’t go through! Gave her back my card and she tried it again! Still didn’t go through! So I opened my account and saw that the charge did go through and showed her that it had! Remember this was the day of the global event. Maybe a glitch. No problem she said gave me my keys and that was that! Next day while out eating I get a call from the hotel saying I needed to come and pay for the nights stay. Huh?? No I already paid last night! Said I needed to come down well I’m not there. When will you be back? When I get back, what time is that gonna be? Umm I’m out and now trying to eat! Male clerk very rude! That was 11:49. At 12:30 the same rude man calls my phone again asking me again when was going to return and then told me the general manager said I needed to be there by 1. Huh? We were almost there! Came into the office and said I guess you are the rude person that keeps calling my phone! He proceeded to say that I needed to pay for the night and I showed him I had already paid for both nights via my account! He tells me that’s a pending charge! Well yes until Monday when it will post! He argued with me him and the maintenance man who was married to the owners! I had to call my bank and have them tell him exactly what I said! I was locked out of my room and made to feel like I was trying to not pay for my stay! I was disrespected and made to feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about! So we decided we didn’t want to patronize this place anymore and checked out! I will never recommend this place to anyone! And even though they may have updated their rooms, the bathroom had...

wanted to write this email and give you an inside look at how poorly the Quality Inn Oceanfront Ormond Beach FL is. Me and my family checked in Monday the 19th into a 2 queen room with a kitchen. The room itself was spacious and had a ocean view, that’s the highlight of the room. I always do a quick inspection of the beds and under the mattress for bed bugs etc . While thankfully we found no bed bugs there was dirty sheets with multiple new stains, a stained mattress with old food and stuff under it . Stains on the covers and linens so we asked for new ones . Honestly everything was booked or we would’ve checked out and stayed somewhere else. We made the best of it though, cleaned the room ourselves and enjoyed are 2 nights on the beach. Our flight was canceled so we needed to book another night . My wife insisted somewhere else but i love using choice hotels for the points and just because I’ve never had any problems in the past. I said we will book this king suite with a extra bedroom and hot tub. Surely they would keep this room super clean. Complete opposite , it was in worst shape then the first room. But we was stuck with it and had to make due . The hot tub still hand sand from the last people , furniture needs thrown away its old and stained and nothing like the red furniture in the pictures . Old socks and cigarettes under these mattresses . Like what? Are they cleaning at all? Upon checkout we hear one of the cleaning people “no reason to clean this one the people who checked out left it in good shape”. WHAT!!! There is a ongoing health crisis and your people are not cleaning the rooms??? The location is good and this hotel could do so much better with adequate cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. Judging by recent reviews I’m not the only one with issues...
