Celestino's NY Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Oroville

I want to leave a great review for the most part ! The food is yum, I love the spaghetti and my girls will often indulge in pizza slices; we visit Celestino’s maybe 1-2 a month. The guys who work at this location are all super swell, pleasant and very customer service oriented.

However,, tonight was a horrible customer service experience with an employee named Eva. She was rude, when asked for some napkins and a fork, since there were none in the bag.

We were going to order some more garlic knots, but after her annoyance was apparent, I decided not to spend my $ on anything else.

I called to ask for her name, She was very confrontational On the phone and asked , why I need to know information. I stated, because you were rude. She’s started raising her voice and said, “rude how”?!

I asked to speak to the manager and I could hear her yelling to him that “someone is saying she was being rude, audible scoff”

She is not enjoying her job and it is apparent ! My daughter could come work there and she’s a teenager, she knows how to be nice to people, especially if that is literally one’s job.

I don’t always enjoy working, if I’m tired, or stressed out, but you better believe I wouldn’t take it out on my Co workers, or clients.

My advice, leave the attitude before you walk through those front doors! I know it’s not a big deal, but I will not be returning and it’s unfortunate, bc the last encounter was awesome with a...

Order one calzone and one slice of cheese pizza, waited over an hour in a hot building cause there was no AC. My husband finally walks up there telling them we want a refund cause it’s been well over an hour and we haven’t received our food. They then started trying to cover their butts saying we put it to go and called out our order when I stated that was a lie cause we even were given eat in cups and the girl who placed our order asked if we wanted the slice of pizza now or if we wanted to wait and have it brought out to our table all together, we’ve been sitting at our table the whole time and not only did they not call out a name or order number they then proceeded to tell us our order was placed under Chris instead of Trisha.. Just lost our business! Left without food and 2 cranky, hungry, over heated babies! Better get our full refund too or there will be serious issues.. We were the only ones left in there and had no food on our table you would think that’d be a red flag or raise concern for them to question maybe just maybe they are still waiting...

I ordered from door dash and this place made it horrible! We got an XL Hawaiian with added bacon. Pizza was extremely greasy and very cheap on toppings. I counted 10 total pieces of Canadian bacon , maybe 2 table spoons of pineapple and less then a table spoon of the crispy bacon that they charged us $5.50 for, and again this was on an XL pizza. I also ordered the appetizer combo. The fried pickles were cooked in one big glob so that only the edges were cooked and when you tried to pull them apart they were just raw gooey dough, just nasty. Even the couple of pickles that were actually separated and cooked were so greasy and you could taste how old the oil was. The mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli were also extremely under cooked but that's ok because they didn't bother to give me the marinara sauce so to me those would've been inedible anyways. I called and spoke to manager thinking I could just send my boyfriend over to pick up replacement for the appetizer combo and manager was rude and said there was nothing he could do about it!!!
