I am so glad that they are on Doordash and that their prices on the app is the same as their prices in-store, which their food is very reasonably priced for what you get. Thursday afternoon takeout order:
Service: About 20 minute wait according to Doordash. Got there and waited a few minutes, which was fine. Kind, young lady up front.
Khaub poob: $10.00. Good portion. Good flavors. Loved the nuttiness from the coconut milk. Got a good amount of quail eggs, but just wished there were more meat and bamboo.
Boat noodles: $13.50. Some of the best we've had! Flavors were on point. Not too salty, not too sweet; broth was addicting. Great portion! Very well worth it.
Happy plate: $12.50. Generous portion. All three proteins were cooked to perfection. Shrimp was sweet and fresh. Kids loved the teriyaki sauce!
Overall, we are very happy that this establishment is a part of our small town and highly recommend them. We will definitely be back to support them and try the other food options that they have to offer.
Update: (7/18/23)
Knocked a star off. Have ordered multiple times since inital review and unfortunately, they haven't been consistent with food quality. Didn't get pork blood in kapiak (kapiak was very salty) as added and didn't get extra chicken for teriyaki bowl, which I paid for. Also, the pork belly was seasoned with Chinese sweet bbq seasoning and was chewy when I ordered it. Will continue to support so as long as quality and service is...

I tried the combo with everything, pad see ew, and egg rolls.
Pork belly, lao sausage and regular sausage was tasty, same flavor as what you'd experience at other hmong places.
Pad see ew was disappointing. All I could taste was little white pepper and oil. Where's the dark soy sauce, or oyster sauce?
Girl who helped me was super nice, super awesome. Excellent service.
So there's another hmong restaurant in Oroville with similar menu, eveeything tasted the same so maybe same owner?
Prices are reasonable for what you get.$10-15 a dish.
Will come back for service alone, and...

I usually take out, but they're really fast. I give them 20 minutes, and when I'm there, I literally just pay and pick up.
My favorite part of this place is the sauces! Sauce is a small part of the food picture, but with Hmong food, they are staple and hand-made. I'm impressed at how many sauces they have at the restaurant. I've tried their pounded thai red chili, sweet & spicy sauce, spicy peanut butter sauce, and Hoisen sauce with peanut which are all very delicious. The chef must be passionate...
