I ordered the Veggie Fajitas, it came with refried beans (which on the menu just says beans, so I was expecting black beans, if you have an alternative to what is on the menu, you should tell people by putting it on the menu because I am from out of town and have never eaten at your restaurant so I had no way of knowing that I could have requesting black beans), plain rice with what looked and tasted like frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn), sour cream, guacamole, and 2 soft shell tortillas (for gluten free). The only thing that was hot was the fajitas, everything else was cold. None of the food was very good and it lacked flavor. Both my mom and dad also said that their food didn't have any flavor, so I am not alone. The refried beans tasted like they came from a can and the rice tasted like instant rice. Overall the food wasn't good. The chips are not gluten free, (per waiter told me they were not gluten free. Yes corn is gluten free but The method of cooking them in the same space as you cook wheat makes them not be gluten free, also called cross contamination. As a restaurant owner, you should know this, because I am sure I'm not the only one who will ask and if you tell me something is gluten free when it's not I will projectile vomit, and that makes me extremely angry). The music was too loud. The ramp to get onto the sidewalk has a big gap that my wheelchair got stuck on, this should be fixed so that it is accessible for people with mobility disabilities. I noticed that all of the ways a wheelchair user could have gotten onto the sidewalk were in disrepair. Too bad for you for not liking my review, most of my reviews are positive. I only give bad reviews when I feel something needs to be changed. If you don't want to change your food that's fine, someone obviously likes it, but when I say you should fix your wheelchair ramp, that is because as a public place you are required to be ADA compliant and while you probably are in compliance with the ADA. You could and should do more because the ADA is the bare minimum of accessibility and taking the extra step to make sure your parking lot is accessible shows that you welcome...

This place was referred by many different people.
The place was empty, the staff members were scarce. We were met with chips and a small bowl of salsa. Instantly after trying the salsa we noticed several broken chips within the salsa. I didn't break any chips...
So we immediately ordered queso and our food when the server came back. A small queso was rushed to the table! Now I'm not a food critic, but I have eaten really good Mexican food, and really bad Mexican food.
The queso was edible. Lacked any integrity and complexity. Definitely served from a can. I've honestly had a better queso experience from a block of Velveeta.
Fajitas arrived smelling delicious, grill marks and everything. Then the tortillas..
Now I know what you're thinking. What could it possibly be.. . ..
There might have been more than one tortilla, but they were so wet and stuck to each other. Trying to separate them just left shreds of tortilla for me to try to put my food together. Like a bad joke. My opinion. Tortillas should always be fresh. Would you serve that to your family?!
Then the chimi. It was your daily special. My personal favorite, my ride or die, I get this everywhere I go.
First impression when it hit the table. Looked like a wet burrito. No crunch, no brown, no fry.
Plated with lettuce and pico that was showing brown in numerous spots. Making me question just what the f I was being served.
So I pushed thru. I started with the rice and beans. The staple this should be an easy home run for this place. The rice was drrrrrrrry, a little water for you could go a long way. But the more I got into it, you knew it was yesterday's rice, maybe even the day before. Rice doesn't get that dry unless it sits around.
We all know that.
The beans. Heartbreaking. Who's in the kitchen? It sure ain't no mama cita that's ever cooked anything for me!
Then after all that I was still brave enough to push thru to my chimi. I'm just going to tell you I didn't continue to eat it. Pushed to the edge of table.
So after dropping 50$ on lunch for 2
I can honestly tell you I will go elsewhere. Passed 15-20 Mexican joints just driving here. I'm sure...
Read moreMy parents raved about coming here every year for the fresh table side guacamole. So when on our big vacation with all siblings and grand kids we all went for it. The waitress was asked and flat out lied to us, saying the avocados were bad, brown, and rotten so she didn't want to make them. Litterly minutes later a cart came out and started making it at another table next to us. And the avocados looked great. The server flat lied to us just to not make it because it was too much work. My dad was very upset and I can tell you we will not return. They lost our business. To top it off. I really felt the food was just eh, I've eaten better at several local Mexican restaurants in my area.
UPDATE: Asked to speak with the manager. He told me it's impossible to have enough fresh avocados for Fridays and Saturdays. So I asked "Did you serve rotten avocados to the table behind us?" He said no, they only serve fresh. I asked why we were told it was rotten and refused to have them made for us, he again said they were rotten and he doesn't have enough (table was same size and came in shortly after us). So again, I asked did they get rotten ones as we were told they were all rotten. He would not answer. Just kept studdering and circling around the question. I'm okay with poor service etc. But I am not okay with being lied to my face. He offered a 15 dollar discount on our over 200 dollar bill. I'm still not happy with being lied to. To the table behind us. I pray you don't get food poisoning because one of was lied to. Either you were served rotten food. Or we were told that because the server didn't want to...
