PY's Saloon — Restaurant in Osceola

Stopped in yesterday for lunch. Was greeted by Lily & Kade. Whoa.. any craft tulip pour $5? Py's you are singing my song! I opted for a reasonable 5.5% Lexington Vanilla barrel cream ale. The tap list isn't overwhelming and certainly not sparse, so you should be able to find he domestic or craft beer you're looking for. For lunch I went w a standard grilled chicken sandwich. I should have lined up silverware or something to better reflect the thickness of the chicken breast! With just a dollop of mayo and a couple leafs of lettuce it was a perfectly refreshing lunch. Py's is a comfortable vibe w tables spread spaciously and another room a couple steps down. Don't forget there is a deck and patio out back! As I sat on the deck w my beer I imagined how stunning it will be in a few months in the fall! Based on yesterday's service and deliciousness I presume I'll be back well before fall but fall will be a must. We have never been here before so we figured we'd check it out! We came in and sat down, waited 15min to even be acknowledged, she took our order for 2 pops and an order of cheese curds which took 1/2hr to make. Shortly after we ordered our cheese curds, we ordered our food and we waited an hour and 15min. And no one came to tell us what was going on. We decided to leave! We went up to the front and told them we'd like to pay for our pops and cheese curds and we were leaving because we have been here for over an hour. The young kid said "Well, we can't really do much about that. We had a large carry out order." 😳 They could have SAID something! Then he said he'll just eat our food for us. Ya. EDIT: (4/9/2022) maybe this place has changed hands? The following is no longer true. Haven't seen the waitress or food in an hour. Wow.... Here is what it was---- This is a great place. Certainly a great place for wings, burgers and fresh cut fries. Plenty of parking in the rear as well as a deck off the back to enjoy the view of the river. Also a VERY honest staff. It was discovered that we were given the wrong tab which we inadvertently paid not thinking anything of it, and when the server quickly realized her mistake, she quickly rushed out to the parking lot and flagged us down and corrected her error. Our real bill was about $25 cheaper then the one we originally paid and she could have just brushed it off but she didn't, she did the right thing and was honest. I will return, and I look...
