It is lovely to see Mad Chicken move into and renovate this space! We thought our experience was very good there. The food was fresh, the service was impeccable and our expectations were set correctly on the time frame in getting our fresh, unprocessed food. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. My understanding is Mad Chicken was born out of the love for the feel of home cooked foods, with real ingredients bringing family and friends together over a table of unprocessed ingredients.

It seems as though they have thought of every detail for dining in, atmosphere, counter service, customer service, presentation of the food, but items to be improved on would be the cutlery and price. The plastic cutlery can't withstand hot fresh food it bends and twists under the heat of freshness. The price for the bowl was $11.00 the serving size was adequate but for the amount of food I felt it was a bit pricey. I do understand that one has to pay to get premium food, ingredients and service however this is near the college and I would think this might be a detouring factor for late night...

Mad Chicken is a clucking masterpiece! From the first bite, it's clear that this isn't your average chicken joint. The crispy, perfectly seasoned fried chicken is a revelation—juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of crunch. Their unique blend of spices keeps you coming back for more, and each bite feels like a mad scientist got loose in the kitchen, but in the best way possible.

The menu is diverse enough to satisfy any craving, from classic wings to inventive sandwiches, and the sides? Let’s just say the fries are fried madness in all the right ways. Even their sauces are a flavor explosion! Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or indulging in a full meal, Mad Chicken takes fast food to a whole new level.

In short, if you haven’t tried Mad Chicken yet, you’re just winging it...

Almost $12 for a few tenders and it doesn't even come with fries! What a ripoff! I can get a better deal at a bar! That's pretty sad. The picture online shows fries, but it doesn't specify that you don't get fries if you select no combo. They also didn't specify when I called to ask about it! And the 1 free sauce is barely enough for 1 tender! Seems to me like they just want to take your money! Also, their system in the store can't even handle making another order if there is already a customer in the store ordering! Is this not 2024? Are we not in the most technologically advanced period of time ever? Time to upgrade from 1993! I would've left 1 star, but the chicken is good enough to be worth another star by itself. But overall, it was a very disappointing...

I'm excited to see a Mad Chicken now open in Oshkosh at 409 Algoma Blvd , the old Hardee's building by the courthouse. Tonight I had chicken tenders and cheese curds. The tenders are always fresh and juicy and are large pieces, they have some weight to them, they are not skimpy little pieces at all. In my opinion, the best in the area. The Cheese curds were very good as well, a good portion size, fresh and done just right and better than most in the area. And the restaurant itself was very clean! They have redone the inside and it looks great! Attentive service too! Prices I'd say are somewhere between Culver's and Chili's. They also have chicken sandwiches, wraps, wings, chicken and waffles, fries/sides, so a good variety. Highly recommended Mad Chicken!
