Ordered two pizzas from here on a Friday evening to be delivered across the street to the Holiday Inn waterpark. The poor kid taking the order was so incredibly in over his head that it took forever to just place the order.
I order one cheese pizza and one half pepperoni, half sausage; asked for them to be cut in squares because it was for a little kid's birthday party and squares are easier and result in less wasted food.
$45 for two pizzas (not even their largest sizes) which was pricey but whatever. They arrived about 50 minutes later and were wrong. Like the actual wrong thing - one had peppers and onions and a bunch of other stuff. Delivery gal was apologetic but still, I've got a hotel room full of hungry little kids.
She calls back to the shop and eventually comes back with our "correct" pizza. Except it still wasn't correct. By this time it's too late to even really care. So I go back the next morning after we check out of the hotel and bring them the second, still incorrect, pizza back and ask for a refund. We hadn't eaten a single bite. The kid says his manager will be in in about 20 minutes and will handle it.
Finally two days later I call to ask for the status and am told "yea you were refunded." Umm okay. Turns out they only refunded for the 2nd pizza. I get it, we did eat the first one, just seems like they maybe could have had some good customer service and just refunded my whole incorrect order.
It was a holiday weekend and I'm sure they are busy but still, you're a pizza place across from an always totally booked hotel - plan accordingly and staff for it. Or at least get people's orders right, even if they take a long time to arrive.
We come to this hotel regularly and will be driving to pick up from the Broadway Pizza next time instead of wasting money...
Read moreFirst of all I ordered food to go which is great when you don't have long for break. 2 here is my problem when the delivery driver comes to my job to drop off and tells me that I've been ordering wrong that there is other places to be putting stuff where it needs to be. I'm fine with that. However do not come into my place of business when I am your customer lecturing me about how I should or should not be doing something. More importantly if you are going to have a menu make sure you are listening everything that comes in it Do not put hidden things in there. i e banana peppers show me where that is listed on the menu for what I ordered! absolutely nowhere so as a result I've had to put it elsewhere which is only place that it allows me to edit it. Two you messed up on my sauce and you mess up on my drink yet you're very rude and I got hung up on when I called I would not advise going here at all you used to be my favorite pizza place. I will take my business elsewhere and make it known that this is how you handle...
Read moreSo the doordash driver did not bring my salad and our pizza toppings were wrong. The driver said that he specifically asked the staff if there was a salad and he was told no. When I personally called and talked to "the owner", He blamed it all on doordash and took no ownership for our incorrect order . The bottom of the pizza was also soggy. I explained to him how does his responsibility especially since the driver asked staff and his response was " There is nothing I can do, I only have one driver". I have worked as a server and know there is plenty a manager can do. I don't think the business will be a success of a manager/owner cannot even take part responsibility for his and/or his team's mistakes. Customer service at doordash was top notch!! Sarpino's...
