The ladies that are working in this location have terrible customer service skills. On my lunch break, After waiting in line for pizza we ordered 2 slices of sausage and 2 slices of cheese. Upon paying for our order the lady checking us out informed us that they do not accept credit cards or checks. So we then left and ran to an atm for cash and returned back to the location to pay for our meal. When we got back to work we opened our togo boxes and they had given us the wrong order (which means someone else went out with our order, so that person would have received the wrong order as well) I went back to the location to exchange the order for the correct order and by then they where out of cheese pizza and sausage pizza. I explained to the staff there that it would be a good idea to post on your entry door that u do not accept credit or checks. One lady replied, " everyone knows we don't take credit or checks" I then said, "well not every customer u get is going to be a local" then another girl said very rudely to me that there was a sign posted behind my back, and pointed at the sign. After all was said and done they gave me my money back with no option to replace my food. I left with no food and a very bad experience and also I had to go back to work with no food because I was out of time on my lunch break. 45 mins, no food, discustingly rude womens working, and I will never return and will always have something negative to say about the company if it ever is brought up in a conversation. This company thrives off its regulars, but anyone with any type of business skills knows that a restaurant should operated 30% regulars and 70% new customers. If you cannot obtain new customers then your business is failing to grow and expand. But according to the staff at this location I am the one at fault because "everyone knows it's a cash only joint" I am a resident of the area, and I did not know because your sign is not posted where a customers eyes are drawn to. And once again anyone with any type of business skills should know where the eyes are drawn and where to post a sign for customers to see...
Read morePizza is all they serve, but I have to say their pizza is excellent. Probably the best I've had in the area.
I can't say as much for their business acumen.
We had 11 in our family group, representing 7 separate households.
I point this out to introduce my biggest issue with this restaurant, the way they expect you to pay the bill.
They don't demonstrate the common sense required to separate the bill and accept payments from the individual family units represented at the table.
Their solution, which obviously is only designed to make it easier on the staff, is to only allow payment as a whole for the 1 ticket that they allowed for the table. And they don't even come to the table to take the order.
You are expected to gather all group members together at the table, then get up and go to the front register to place your order, and you can't split it into multiple tickets...
Then, you go back to wait at the table, and they deliver the pizza some time later with no apparent service etiquette.
What really irks me is their expectation that you as a customer should be responsible for gathering the money up from the 7 different family units at the table to cover the bill, so they don't have to.
I don't know if it is a lack of intelligence or simply laziness on their part but IMHO... it's an asinine way to conduct business.
The bill was just under $200 for 11 of us including soft drinks so the price wasn't altogether bad.
If it wasn't for the service, attitude and payment method, it would have been a great...
Read moreThis is, hands-down, our family-favorite for pizza. We have been going here at least a few times a year for nearly 25 years (if we lived closer, we'd go more often for sure). It is a quaint building with nice decor. In our experiences, service has always been prompt. The pizza is delicious!!! They use fresh ingredients for the veggies vs canned or frozen. They have the typical, full array of drinks -- beer (bottles), wine, malt bevs, sodas, etc; pitchers of soda are available. We have a weekly pizza night in our family and we don't live close enough to go here every week, but even among our more local pizza joints, we have not found anything that comes even close in comparison to Bianchi's. We usually order 2 of their largest pizza for our family of 5 with hopes that we might have some leftovers to take home -- we almost never have any leftovers. :-( Recommendation: if you like a little spice on your pizza, get the hot sauce. You will not be disappointed. I think it costs $1 and it's worth it. A few things to be aware of if you've never been here before - 1. They only take cash. It's been that way ever since we've been going there and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon. There is an ATM at a local bank just down the way (within walking distance). 2. They do only pizza; they don't have salads and breadsticks and calzones, etc, etc, etc. But, when you do pizza as well as they do, you don't need the...
