My boyfriend and I had dinner at Niku recently and mostly enjoyed it. We ordered the Spicy Salmon Roll, Sassy Crawfish Roll, Filet Mignon Hibachi Dinner, and Shrimp Hibachi Dinner. The food was fresh and well-prepared—definitely the highlight. I had a Mai Tai, but it was weak and tasted more like juice. My boyfriend had a Sapporo and liked it. Service was a bit slow, and our server seemed distracted—I didn’t get the salad that came with my meal, though he liked his soup. The atmosphere was nice, but the music (a lot of Taylor Swift) didn’t really match the setting. Prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food made up for it. Overall, a good meal with a few minor issues. I’d go back for the sushi and maybe try a different drink next time.

Just an overall underwhelming experience. Went there shortly after they opened at 11:30. There were only 2 people in there. It took a while to get the drinks. Another 2 guests came in. They were taken care of right away. We ordered our food. 15 minutes went by until we got our food only to get cold to lukewarm food. I got the hibachi box with steak and scallops, both lukewarm. The veggies were cold. The rice was overcooked and crunchy. The other order was chicken katsu. The chicken was dry the noodles were OK. Had to ask 2x for water just to get a refill. I wish them the best and hope it gets better I personally won't be back.

Loved this place! We were here during a very slow time (lunch on a Monday) so service was swift and able to have extra attention by wait staff. Wanted to try a new cuisine and loved Japanese. Hubby enjoyed lobster box and shared miso soup. Enjoyed creamy crab Rangoon as an appetizer. I liked the avocado salad with chicken. It was a big portion! Wanted to try sushi but am new to this food so tried Spicy JB sushi. It wasn't too fishy tasting, and the crab mix was creamy. I liked the fried texture as well. Definitely worth a try!

My family (8 of us) ate here on a Thursday evening in September with a reservation. The service was not good at all. We were given soy sauce stained drink menus. The server was not friendly and somewhat rude. It seemed like she didn't know what was on the menu as she looked confused every time someone ordered something. Don't try to order a mixed drink... she didn't know what an old fashioned was, stick to beer and wine. It took FOREVER to get drinks and they were brought one at a time instead of all together. Refills took even longer. She kept walking away without checking if we needed anything. Our food was AMAZING and we were all impressed by the freshness and flavors! Unfortunately all of our meals came out at different times and she couldn't remember who ordered what. Also we were a bit disappointed there was no Ramen option. Overall we will get food from here again, but as take out only since the service was so terrible. This was a pre-wedding dinner and I had family in from the east coast and I was embarrassed by the poor...

Me and my girlfriend went here on a Saturday Afternoon it was not a good experience. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi. There were barely any vegetables I counted I had 8 pieces of broccoli, 3 slices of zucchini, 8 pieces of carrots and a pile of onions. The “stir fry vegetables” was %50 onions. The vegetables themselves were ok at best. The chicken was incredibly dry and the steak hard and chewy. The fried rice was ok but tasted off a little bit. While there our waiter came to the table to take our drink order, take our food order, and bring us our food. We did not see our waiter until we had to find them to get our check. I paid almost $30 for a glass of watered down sprite, a pile of onions, dry chicken and tuff steak. I ate maybe 3 bites in total then left it on the table. I would have asked to have the meal removed from check but I couldn’t find my waiter. I feel robbed and won’t be returning to this restaurant. Niku is ok at best but I will definitely not be suggesting...
