With the old-style building comes the old-style service...
My service was prompt, food was decent and the kitchen itself seemed to be working like a well-oiled machine. That's where the good stops, however.
My servers were equally machine-like, with borderline rude interactions. For example, when I notified one of the ladies behind the counter that their Dr. Pepper was out of syrup, she replied "I know already" and walked away. The lobby was a mess, with multiple tables not cleaned and the floor felt sticky all over, as I would imagine the floor of their kitchen to be. Their Arby's sauce dispenser was also empty, and when I asked for packets the lady grabbed a handful of them and placed them on the counter without saying anything, walking away immediately afterward like before. A little more personability would have been appreciated, at least.
Finally, a minor complaint that probably has more to do with franchising differences, but I was sad to see that this location had Coca-Cola products, where others I've been to generally have Pepsi, and more specifically the Mt. Dew Game Fuel that I like to visit Arby's for.
Other Arby's I've been to in recent years have had much improved service, to the extent that I would generally rate it five stars for a fast food joint. But this location reminds me of the days when I all but believed Arby's would go out of business because they all had such...
Read moreI went to grab a doordash order last night and it took a minute to get acknowledged.. The cook told the front end worker that she had a customer at the counter. I smiled and said I'm here for that doordash order. I had noticed that she was putting it together so I was just patiently waiting. The guy from the back then yelled up for them to confirm my order. I said can I have the order first and then he said no you can't. Then him and the other cook kept talking about me. Loud enough for me to hear and they weren't nice things. Horrible customer service from him. Like grow up. I believe the manager said his name is Marcus. The front end cashier was amazing at customer service. I told her once I have the order I have no problem confirming the order in front of them. I had also got another order and confirmed both with the cashier watching my phone with no problem. COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY. Marcus is in the back and should not be yelling up to the front counter and being so rude. The cashier even told him to "shhh". no wonder everyone talks bad about this Arby's.. I hope he can learn better customer service skills and learn to control his tone and volume. I believe if he can do this he would be an amazing worker because he was on top of the orders and acknowledged the customers.. Good luck and...
Read moreThe manager - who is pictured below with the dark beard handling food without gloves, was extremely rude from the moment I walked into his restaurant. I had my bride and four boys with me - ages 11 to 4. We were the only customers in the restaurant. He asked for my order the moment we walked in. I mentioned I needed more time to order for my family of six. Right after I ran my credit card, he complained in advance that my boys would upset him from the noise he said they'd make - for his two staff and my family to hear. If I had not made the purchase, we would have left right away. After dinner I apologized to him for having done anything to offend him and that I did not understanding why he gave me / us such terrible customer service. He became defensive right away, complained that he would have to wipe down the whole dining room from us due to COVID and called my sons "hoodlums" while walking away. Thankfully I chose to only write this review - rather than doing something to him I would have later regretted....I love Arbys' food and thankfully have never had an experience like...
