We came here for date night. We had never been here before. Having gotten off work, we hadn't had dinner. We walked in and downstairs and headed to the dining area. We sat for a while until we tracked down a server, wondering if we needed to order at the bar. No, they said they just never saw us sit because our booth was hidden slightly. The server then stopped by, and we ordered. The food arrived in a timely manner, and my date asked for a refill. We ate the food ( it was good ), but a refill never arrived. My date finally went to the bar to get a drink because 10 minutes had passed and our food was gone but we were thirsty. The server saw this and apologized. We received our check and headed to play. We got a card and played games. They were fun, but a few took our points but were not working correctly. We tried to talk to the people in charge of this but stood in line for 15 minutes. 2 different occasions. A manager was called because the kids in charge didn't know how to resolve this. I believe possibly their first day. Overall, we had fun. The bathrooms were not very clean, and they were maybe 20% capacity for a Thursday night. When we tried to sit for dinner, 25% of the tables were covered in dirty dishes, so we sat in a corner. Therefore, we were not spotted. I'd go again, but I wouldn't call this place a must visit. It's definitely a fun place for the kids. I also wouldn't expect a top-tier dining experience at a game place. The food was pretty good fyi. We had fun.

I was extremely disappointed with the service and staff my first time visiting here this past weekend. It was my birthday and we thought we would do something fun. We were originally going to go somewhere else for dinner, but saw this place had food so decided we would do everything at one place. It was busy, but not overly busy, around 8:30pm. We decided to sit at the bar, the bartenders were completely ignoring us and mostly talking to each other, it took about 25 minutes before we even got someone to get drinks for us, we were about to just leave. My friend ordered the chips and salsa appetizer and they forgot her chips, so when she asked for them the guy gave a little scuff noise like it was an inconvenience. No one ever checked on us to ask how our food was, and again it took 20-25 minutes to get their attention so we could pay our bill. Overall it took over an hour and a half just for us to order, eat food, and pay. I don't like going to a place where the workers make you feel like such an inconvenience.

Food was an afterthought at best. There was no one at the host stand - a server sat us after we called him over. The table was disgusting. The server seemed a lot like we were keeping him from his duties, as if serving us isn’t just that. The food was such a disappointment - over priced micro portions of box macaroni for the kids, and both of our salads were horribly drenched in dressing with half the lettuce wilted and brown. Worse yet my shrimp were over-cooked and rubbery. The only edible part of my salad were the pecans and blue cheese. I’m so frustrated with such an obvious disregard for the dining experience. Just do us all a favor and save yourselves the cost in real estate, Labor, waste and close your dining rooms to be the “Bar-Cade” you clearly only have the energy out interest in being. There are two stars because the kids always have fun with the games - but 2 is honestly generous.

Ok now i have a chance to sit down and write my notes from my visit.

We waited by the host area. there is a sign up that says wait to be seated by an associate. we had 2 walk by us with no service a manager walked by and then sat us.

I then proceeded to watch the bartender, and 3 employees take bombshots not helping any of the customers, let alone greet us or say they will be right with us. Another server joined them for a late shot and then came over to our table. mind you we have been inside for 30 min now. took 10 min to be seated and an additional 20 min before our server greeted us. we knew what we wanted but he was not ready to take our order. So he got us our drinks. a Dr pepper, and a non-alcoholic Heineken.

The Dr. Pepper was flat, and the syrup needed to be changed instead of taking our order, the server proceeded to walk back and get this drink corrected instead of having one of the 3 servers who were still hanging out at the bar chatting. another 10 min goes by finally we have out other drink and he takes our order. We order a protein bowl, and sliders with no onions as i have a food allergy. and some fried pickles as an appetizer.

30 min goes by and our food finally comes out however mine has onions on it. the server apologizes and shows the ticket to us where he submitted it without onions, food allergy. says he will take care of it. another 20 min go by and i finally get my food. its now 1030. we arrived at 845. nearly 2 hours. And mind you it was Dead like maybe 2 other customers sitting at tables eating food.

the manager never came over to apologize and i was surprised at the bill cost bill came to nearly 63. seemed pricey. and even though the server didnt take our food order until about 920 we got charged the regular price for the fried pickles instead of the 9pm happy hour price. this just shows me the lack of customer service and care provided by the establishment. so i will not be coming back for food or drinks.

I normally rate the food from a 1-10 scale

the fried pickles were alright nothing amazing 4 out of 10 the protein bowl was pretty good 6 out of 10. and the sliders when i finally got them 3 out of 10.

overall the lack of customer service made the food less desirable which is why i gave the google 2 stars out of 5 for food.

we ended up playing games for an hour and had a blast. so we will be back for games just never again for food.

I had a manager respond to my 3 stars asking how they could get us up to a 5. customer service would have changed...

Former employee here, thought I would leave a detailed review and let everyone know what to expect on a trip to dave and busters. First off, this place is pretty expensive, the food, the games, and the drinks. For all those complaining about service in the early reviews, the location opened in March, so staff is still learning how everything works. Now on to prices, food ranges from around $10-25 a person, depending on what you order. Everything is high calorie, and probably not very healthy for you, but I enjoyed everything I had while working there.

They have specials every day of the week, so pay attention and plan your trip accordingly. Sunday through Thursday, they do an eat and play combo, you get a pre-selected entree (choice of 6 per tier) and a game card, its a good way to save a few bucks per person. Wednesday is half price game night, a game that normally costs 6 chips now costs 3, no coupons for game cards can be used on Wednesdays. They also do a happy hour, but it isn't fantastic and drinks are still pretty pricey.

Now on to how the games work. Games run off chips instead of tokens, and are loaded onto a power card, similar to a debit card. Games average between 4 and 9 chips a game, with a few outliers in each direction. Chips range anywhere between 10 and 20 cents a piece depending on how many you buy at once (the more you buy, the cheaper per chip). Parents keep that in mind when you hand your kid a card, it's very possible they can run off and spend $50 in half an hour if they aren't careful. An employee may ask if you want to supercharge your card. The answer to that should be yes, you get 25% more chips for a fraction of the cost, although the sign by the front desk has the supercharged prices/choices already on them. Do keep in mind there is a $2 activation with a new card, so don't lose it. Chips and tickets never expire, so you can bring old cards from years ago. Tickets are also loaded onto the cards, and can be spent in the winners circle. Prices actually are decently fair there.

Overall D&B is a fun place to be, but can be kind of a rare splurge because of the higher prices, if you made it this far in the review I hope I gave enough information for you to decide if it...

I came here with my family and sat down to eat after playing some games. I waited for over 5 minutes for someone to come over. The server Malinda was supposed to return with menus, she disappeared for 7-8 minutes and said " I forgot about you" but that was alright because I had found some menus anyways. After finally getting our order taken our appetizer arrived shortly after. We ate the chips and we're wanting more but we hadn't seen our waitress for over 10 minutes and by that time someone else had already brought us our food. We told the man who brought us our food that we would like some more chips. No one ever came!!! So I then got up to find my waitress and to get more chips. About 5 minutes later we finally get chips and they weren't even the chips that came with our appetizer. So we didn'ttouch them. And then on top of that we sat for over ten minutes without refills. And come to find out Malinda along with 3 other co workers were just standing around talking by the register. When I told the Manager how horrible the service was he was smug. And then my boyfriend and the Manager got into a heated discussion usually a manager would have replied "I'm sorry for the service, let me go ahead and get you squared away," but not this one. And this manager had very poor hygiene. I'm surprised he would even be in the kitchen. I will not be coming back to this location!! I eat out all the time and got to family friendly places like this constantly and have never left a bad review. I'm very disappointed with the services I...
