Prime Sushi & bbq Korean Chicken — Restaurant in Overland Park

My fiancé and I ordered take out from here for the first time last night . We got the food home and went to eat and almost our entire order was messed up . He ordered 2 vegetable tempura rolls with added cream cheese , Stonehenge roll, gyoza, and fried rice . There was only one vegetable roll in the container and it was not deep fried as requested , they added cream cheese to my Stonehenge roll which made it disgusting( we asked for cream cheese to be added to the vegetable rolls only ) , the menu says the fried rice is served with miso soup and we did not receive that either , and only one tiny packet of soy sauce was included for what was supposed to be 3 sushi rolls . I tried calling them to let them know the order was wrong but just kept getting a busy signal for 30 minutes straight ! I ended up just having to drive back there to let them know our order wasn’t correct . A girl asked me what was wrong and I told her and then she just walked away and never came back to help me . About 5 minutes later somebody else came over to me and I addressed my order issue with him. He tried telling me the rice does not come with miso soup although the online menu says it does ( I even showed him but he still argued and said it shouldn’t have said that but never offered to still give it to me ). He then tried telling me that we only ordered one vegetable tempura roll . I had to show him our online order receipt to prove we ordered and paid for 2 of them . He then said he would just refund us for the roll we didn’t receive . I told him we would like the roll instead of a refund . I had to wait 35 minutes for them to make the other roll we never received!! And it wasn’t even that busy in there . The customer service is very very poor . We will never order from...

I’ll rate this in three ways. Food, Service, and Aesthetics. Food: 5 Stars Reason: The food was excellent. Hard to find a place that serves a good variety of chicken that all taste good. If you’re looking for a suggestion, I’d encourage you to order the Soy Garlic chicken. It’s a perfect balance of all flavors. If you’re looking for something sweeter, Honey garlic may be in your liking.

Service: 3.5 Stars Reason: Wait is long, but it’s also opening day, so the place is packed. I’d assume after a few days the work flow will improve greatly so I won’t judge them to hard on it.

Aesthetics: 5 Stars Reason: The place is visually appealing, being not too bright nor dark. The designs are clean and modern blending well with its Sushi and chicken cuisine. It remain on the clean side as far as restaurants go, and wouldn’t give me any concerns over how sanitary the dishes in using are, or how clean the food is.

Overall: 4.5 Stars Reasoning: Although they do excellent food and aesthetics, their service is a bit iffy, but I won’t hold it against them because they haven’t yet got into the motions. In summary, this restaurant is definitely a place I plan on returning to for Chicken, and...

If you like fried chicken and sushi, this is the place for you!

Husband and I went for lunch and it was so affordable we got 3 lunch sets between the two of us: 3 sushi rolls set, KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) set- gang jeong flavor, and the pork tonkatsu set. The sushi was on point, so was the tonkatsu (comes with a side of mixed tempura!).

The Korean fried chicken comes with french fries and a soft drink. They do tempura and Korean fried chicken so well that I wasn't surprised that their fries are perfectly cooked too. The boneless chicken was so soft, hot, and steamy (it was a white and dark meat mix) and the batter was crisp and perfectly fried. The sauce was just like the Korean fried chicken we tried in Korea, the flavor we chose was a sweet and tangy one.

Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We requested a seat more socially-distanced and he was very accommodating. He checked on us 3-5 times during the meal and was very nice. We will definitely come back again for the great food and service!
