Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Overland Park

My family has loved the Freddy's franchise ever since one had popped up in our town. However, this Freddys used to be good until it wasn't. Today we had stopped by for a quick lunch after church, but when we arrived it felt almost as we were being judged for wearing nicer clothing than the "causal attire".

Anyways, when ordering our food it was as if the lady at the register didn't care for the people around her. She was very quick with her responses with a rude tone and was very short with us. We felt very disrespected as we were just trying to enjoy our day.

Thirdly, when we were dining in, the food tasted okay. The prices have shot up to almost $10 for a burger and fries combo from being around $6-7. We had asked for sauce and with a family of four we had asked for 6 fry sauce with our meal but had to explain why in a family of four we needed 6 sauces to enjoy our meal. First, they gave us 3 then, another 3 after we explained.

When we were eating we could see that 2 of the workers were sitting at a booth on their phones while another 2 guys were flirting with their girlfriends (who did not work there) while on shift. Then, there were 3 girls at the front near the register who were very loud and kept laughing and making jokes.

Maybe next time we will eat at the Whataburger...

Placed our order at the drive thru, added one item at window with relatively little wait. Staff asked us to pull forward to parking lot and they would bring food out. Waited 18 minutes with no appearance so entered restaurant (mind you, two kids in the car, one of which we had to convince to go to Freddy's and my arm is currently in a sling so kind of the point of a drive thru experience). Took three staff members to actually engage with me and then, lo and behold, our food was sitting on a cart in the middle of the kitchen with shake and concrete mostly melted and food cold. Rather than deal with delays at this point with hungry kids and nursing wife at home, took the food and microwaved it. Definitely not a premium experience considering we have Tay's as an alternative that's closer and the same price for a FAR better food and quicker service. Not living up to the whole "Enjoying great food without a long wait doesn’t mean your meal has to be cooked before you order it." as listed on their website at all. More like "Enjoy cold food and melted ice cream after a long wait because we forget about you." Don't...

There were three girls at the counter who did not take our order or needs seriously. The girl who did take our order was very short with us and was very lazy. Once we received our food and were seated, the same girls were talking loudly and being extremely silly to the point in which it was a disturbance. It did not appear to me that they were anything but immature. The food was fine but pricing has significantly increased. Also, there were two boys from the kitchen who were visiting and flirting with two girls who were dining in. It appeared that both boys were in a relationship with the girls but it did not impress me that they frequently visited their table. The cleanliness of the restaurant was poor as the floors ans tables were very sticky and the doors seemed they had not been clean in a very long time. As a result of this impression, I think it is safe to say my family and I will not be returning to this location. The conditions were implorable and I am greatly dissatisfied with...
