Walked in at about 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. There were three employees behind the counter and one in the dining room eating a sandwich. No other customers. When I walked up to the counter, the one who had been eating got up from his dinner to start my order. (Not sure if no one else is allowed to cut meat or something?) He finished the base and passed the sandwich on to another employee who took my order for all the toppings. He was INCREDIBLY slow - like grabbing one or two vegetable pieces at a time, rather than a small handful to spread out along the sandwich like anyone else would. Finally he wrapped up my sandwich and passed it onto a third employee (who had been standing there doing literally nothing else this entire time). This guy asked if I had a rewards card and I said “no, but I’ve got a gift card” and I handed it to him and he stared at it and/or the POS screen for a solid 2 minutes before asking what the expiration date on the card is. I said it’s a gift card, it shouldn’t have one. He then called over the first employee who had gone back to eating his sandwich in the dining room (presumably named Juan). Juan came over and swiped the gift card like any other properly trained employee would have known to do and the transaction was finally done. Oh yeah. Meanwhile the fourth employee did nothing the entire time besides eat a cookie in the dining room and flirting with the second employee. Overall, it was just incredible to see 4 people take 20 minutes to serve one person and do it with very little evidence of know-how...
Read moreMeat portions are extremely skimpy. Lady in front of me made a comment and the manager corrected it but didn't bother asking me or the guy behind me. While making my sandwich, standard dress, no tomato add mayo, o&v on the side(said this 2 times, then repeated it back) he goes straight to the tomatos, no tomato, no tomato(he listening in on that lady in front of me) hey, no tomato, DUDE! no tomato... so 5 times I tell him this, but I got the eyes of everyone at that point, lol anyways as I'm leaving, I was curious about my meat. When I got home, I pulled out my kitchen scale and weighed it. Now I worked at blimpie for 1.5yrs and managed subway for 9yrs so I understand portion control, I took apart the sandwich and discovered .58oz ham(1piece), 1.19oz Turkey, did have 4 tiny pieces of bacon, ultimate club, what's ultimate? Oh, .62oz prov cheese(1slice, I ripped it in half so I could cover the sandwich) so $6.87 for 6" of? So disappointing 😔 since I can't eat subway anymore, just don't taste the same...
Read moreI don't write reviews... like ever. But I had to write one for these guys because I don't know where ANY of the negative reviews could even come from for this Goodcents! Honestly - I'm not exaggerating... We have used this Goodcents for COUNTLESS catering orders over the last several years, and they have always delivered exactly what we order, exactly when we need it - sometimes SOONER! Usually, I end up ordering last minute for a client meeting, and they always accommodate us and work to do whatever they can to get us food when we need it! The posted hours say they open at 10am, but when I have to call before that, they always pick up the phone and someone is able to help me. And half the time, it's the owner himself that shows up with the delivery, thanking me kindly for our business - it doesn't get better than that! It's the kind of service I grew up with in a small town, but you usually don't get these days or in larger cities.
KEEP IT UP! And thanks for being a...
