McGregor's Butcher Shoppe Deli — Restaurant in Overland Park

I consider myself a pastrami sandwich lover. So much so that I make it from scratch at home when I have the time. I often look for places that serve pastrami. When I saw McGregor's I look to see if they had a pastrami sandwich and they did. Although it seemed pricey I had to try it. OMG, it was worth every penny. By far the best pastrami sandwich I've had since I moved to Missouri in 1990. Most places disappoint you when you see the actual sandwich compared to the picture. This was better than the picture. It was absolutely delicious. I order it with yellow mustard and pickle because a troop pastrami lover would never put anything else on such a sandwich. My better half and I recently enjoyed a great breakfast at Mcgregor's Butcher Shoppe and Deli. The bacon was flavorful, they use fresh eggs, have half a dozen cheeses to chose from, and the bread flavorful. We even purchased an extra breakfast sandwich to go.
