Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Overland Park

When my son & I arrived we asked for a booth and there were 4 available at 1720 with no one coming in behind us, but instead, we got sat in the very middle half-booth chair combo that wasn't even set up so I pulled the salt and stuff from a different table and my son and I ate on the same side. 2nd thing we were there longer than normal because I couldn't access my stupid account and it is so annoying that every single time it kicks you out and our server would not look up my rewards to speed us along. It took the entire time we were there to finally get in to get my rewards pulled up and I had a free appetizer with $20 spent, thanks for trying to make that not happen. Then the 3rd thing was my salad was wrong 1st time it came out, it came out with shredded chicken and I asked for breaded chicken. My salad was wrong the second time it came out, No croutons, and it was NOT supposed to have any Blue Cheese but they had put in all over the base of the bowl and under the top of the items so I didn't see it until I mixed in my ranch. We saw our waiter a couple more times to get our water refilled after we completely ran out and had to stop him. He asked if everything was good as I was literally throwing a large chunk of blue cheese onto an extra plate on the table, and I looked at him and said, "Sure if you want to call this salad, being wrong and me having to pick Blue Cheese out and not able to eat it but my son here eats everything, so yeah guess we're good. I have no water do you mind." He said great as he was doing a check-in walking by us but stopped when I lifted my empty glass and shook my ice, then he got me my water. Our server never checked in the kitchen before coming out to make sure our order was right and normally I never change it from the menu but I am a few days out of the hospital so my diet is restricted and BWW was a disappointing way to end the evening with my son last night. We also ordered a meal for my daughter at home and he put it in at the beginning of the order and put it in the warmer. I told him at the beginning I would put the order in with him when we were done eating or give it to him now but didn't want it entered to be cooked until we were done eating so it was hot but everything was soggy and rubbery like it has been sitting in a warmer for over an hour and that's just nasty for your French fries because they are a hit or a miss these days on if they will be good and crispy or not cooked well and soggy unedible. You also can't do that to a wrap which is what we had it just made it bad so wasted money. The server didn't pay attention or see anything right in front of him that was wrong, that he needed to stay on top of, drinks, and didn't take care of the rewards...

When I came to United States of America, I heard about you a lot and everyone told me like chicken wings are so yummy but I refused it many of my friends called to visit you but unfortunately, due to some other reason, I could not attend your place.

Well, luckily, in the 2024 the very recent months, I got a chance to visit you and after entering the place was so nice with lots of chair tables TV screens, some designs, a nice gallery of alcohol section and many more.

But you missed to Great 😊 people in the entry! This is an important aspect for you to grow more.

Okay! Let me continue, so we went in and saw the vibes of it and it was nice but sadly no customer at all in the place I don’t understand why such a good place miss busyness.

May be few factors, such as Late food , not taking care of customers, no friendly nature , worse tasty food 🥘? So whatever about the reason, it might be I feel like if you can focus more on getting busy then you will generate more income of the business is what I feel to keep this point in mind.

Next, we got to choose our own place and we sat in a nice comfortable sofa and a nice guy came to take order. He brought some menu cards so and given some time to us we ordered I think a couple of items.

— Potato 🥔 wedges.

— Onion rings 🧅

— Cauliflower wedges

— Ice cream 🍨

— Boneless wings 🍗

I felt like quality and quantity are good. Their dipping and dressing sauces are mouth watering and tend to eat more though we can’t :)

Ice cream is so good out of all, try it out.

— Try to make the food as fast as possible.

— Try to come up with sea food ( Only Fish and shrimp 🦐)

— Remove fountain drinks and add bottled drink.

— Prices are a little on higher side.

— I think music 🎼 loudness can be reduced a little.

— Payment process is bad, Try to collect payment in the counter or bring the reader to table. ( so bad you need to improve this )

— Allow out door seating too for offline orders.

The restaurant was about 80% empty on a Friday night. Our party of 10 seemed like a point of confusion to them trying to find space for us, even though all but one large table was empty. We sit down. After 10 minutes someone comes over and we ask for menus. He says use the QR code. Or if we want a server it will be another 10 minutes. Not sure why he said that. For one, the person that sat us could have told is to use the QR code, I know that sounds like a crazy idea. Half the people in our group couldn't get the QR code to work, it wanted them to use delivery. One person had no phone. We told him we'd rather use menus and order from a person. He acted like this was a huge request and seemed very disinterested in doing his job as a server. He was also confused about the drinks he brought us. No wonder I hadn't been back in the last 4 years, but we felt like something different last night so we went there. Most of us were getting ready to leave and go somewhere else, but a couple people already ordered. The ladies that brought our food to us were friendly and helpful. But the young man with the hair over his eyes seemed like were were a burden to him. Not even going to spend time on how much the food sucked. I can see why this place is empty on a Friday night while other bars in the area are full. Next week I'll take my group back to Coach's or The Peanut where we actually get good service and decent food.
