Right every time we go to OAK Park Mall there should be a rain inviting us to get inside.

And you know what rain plus hot food is the deadly combination we are exploring something different to eat in OAK Park mall and we found Sarku Japan, when we ordered for the first time, we tried only vegetarian their vegetarian fried rice and on top of it a green salad 🥗 it was not too bad when we tried for the first time.

But but but , we tried Extra Chicken and Shrimp rice 🍚 it was so yummy and it was so amazing.

We again went to Sarku Japan, just to eat that shrimp, chicken and rice with a little salad on the top it was really an amazing bowl for 12 to 15$.

The food taste is so yummy because they are cooking on a griller , which add more taste to their meat that’s the reason we often go there.

There are a lot of items on the same side for Americans. You will like their teriyaki beef teriyaki chicken, and a few more salad and rice items.

For Indians try the chicken and shrimp rice like how we tried and let me know. What do you think in the comments.

5/19/23 went to Sarku Japan, Oak Park Mall. Ordered 1 combo chicken/shrimp with fried rice. Meal was $11.50. handed the cashier $20 bill, the cashier handing me back. $8 and 2 nickels folded in my hand. I noticed a nickel slid out. I then counted my money. Told him that he gave me two nickels instead of two quarters. The employees began to speak in their language then telling me they gave me the correct change. Someone came from the back argued pointing to tip jar. The whole experience was really weird. Bottom line, it may have only been 40 cent but it was mine! Dispute was ridiculously asinine!!! Sarku Japan are deliberately cheating customers & pretending they can't speak English! Sarku did return my 2 quarters then demanded the 3 nickels 😳. This practice is conniving & diabolical. Decent mall sushi place. Got the signature dish teriyaki sicken bento, as it has a little bit of everything they offer. Dumplings are good, rice is great, meat is a little sparse but was all cooked, salads are cold, but do have bits where they were starting to wilt. The Cali rolls are small (you get 4 pc) and warmer than I would have liked. For an $11 dish it was good and a lot of food. The amount of food the dish has is why you don't get as much meat and that's fine.

The business is very busy, and staff was fast and friendly. This is a place where you will wait about 5-10 minutes, and that's fine.

Drinks are expensive with a Small being 2.50 at 20oz
