Taco Bell — Restaurant in Overland Park

worst experience and attitude in customer service I have ever experience from food service! I never eat Taco Bell but my sons do, so exhausted and hungry after a 2 hour drive I ordered 3 supreme tacos with my son's order. When we got the bag I did not see my 3 tacos in the bag but the lady at the window insisted they were in there. After driving home they were NOT in the bag. I called the store just off College & Quivira and she was aware they weren't in there and kept insisting she didn't know how it happened but made no attempt to offer any remedy. I finally asked what she was going to offer to do about it. She said she could give my money back or remake the tacos. I asked for both since I had to drive back. When I got to the window they left me setting there for a long time. I could see them take the money out of the drawer and put the tacos on the counter but not bring either to the window. Eventually a girl brought the money to the window and shoved it at me disgusted and no apology or words but no tacos either...I could still see the bag on the counter and had seen the conversation. I waited and finally honked several times before they picked up the bag and shoved it out the window at me. Afraid to eat them by now!! ...but guess what, not the right tacos either. I've never been...

EDIT MARCH 2019: This Taco Bell is consistently the worst in Johnson County. As per my original review, the service is generally standard fare and no issues. But someone, PLEASE teach these people how to prepare food with consistent quality and take care of their machines.

Just today I was service a burrito with uncooked rice. Hard as rocks. I mean, come on - really guys? The lobby soda machine still tastes wrong every single time and now this. The only reason I come back is the convenience of the location.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Service was fine. Just writing this review to express displeasure with the Pepsi beverage machine in the lobby.

Unless you want your orange Kickstart to taste like Pepsi, or your Baja Blast to taste like rootbeer, have them fill your drink from the drive thru area.

Used to be a go to for me while on lunch. However, the newer gentleman with the glasses that they’ve hired seems to have a personal vendetta against me. I hear him speak to other customers through the speaker and he sounds friendly. As soon as I get to the speaker he becomes terse and rude.

I’ve also noted lower quality food when he works, unsure of whether it’s just my food that is worse or if he lowers the quality of everyone’s.

I’m really not sure what I did to the guy maybe I cut him off in traffic or something. it’s clear that he recognizes and has a problem with me though. Sad to say I’m probably going to quit eating here until hopefully more people call him out and he either learns to hide his crappy attitude or is let go.

May 2025 update: Decided to swing by today, same guy works there. Still treats me the same. Sounds enthusiastic over the speaker to the guy in front of me and then uses as few words as possible when I pull up. Today he had his polo unbuttoned with his chest hair sticking out. Real good look for...
