Greek Cuisine — Restaurant in Overland Park

I normally get the gyro sandwich or gyro with rice. I do think the portions on the sandwich are enough but when you order a plate you do not get enough gyro. Today i ordered something different Grilled Chicken sandwich (it's called chicken solkavlia or something like that. Anyway I don't like the flat pressed chicken because it has no taste i wanted the grilled chicken. I ordered this because when i lived in TN i could get a combo plate that was piled with grilled chicken strips and gyro on top of rice. I can't find that anywhere here so, i tried this grilled chicken not thinking to ask if it was strips. I assumed it was and just assumed it was like any grilled chicken. Well, i was extremely disappointed when i got back to my office and seen the sandwich. The "grlled chicken" was tiny little chunks of chicken stuff that looked like it had some kind of runny liquid sauce on it. Not sure what it was. But, the chicken was like canned chicken and it was fatty and had a lot of gristle. I took one bite and was done. I took a fork and picked through it looking for good pieces of chicken but there were only a couple. I will NEVER order that again. I don't know that i will go back now. They really need to specify that this is chicken pieces and not strips. They should use actual chicken strips to make this sandwich and simply grill them is all they need to do to...

The food is decent, your average gyro, and the food came out super fast, but the cashier was extremely unfriendly toward me because I am female. He completely ignored me even though I paid for the meal of both myself and my friend and left a decent tip. My friend is male and he would only speak to him. After I paid he said, "Thank you, sir". When we were eating he approached us and asked "Sir, how is your meal?" and completely ignored me. When we were leaving, he said, "Have a good day, sir". He said all these things without looking at me or acknowledging my presence, and again, I was the one who paid and tipped.

If the staff cannot be mature adults and acknowledge women as half the human population of earth, I will not be back to eat or purchase their food. There are plenty of other sandwich shops with much nicer employees who aren't mysoginists and who live in the 21st century.

Please take your money elsewhere if you are a woman or if you support...

I was disappointed in my whole restaurant experience. Bummer too, been looking for a good, mouthwatering just thinking about it, Greek foodie for my go to. I ordered the Gyro sandwich lunch special...gyro, fries and drink. The price was reasonable, but not compared to the quality, and quantity of the food received, it wasn't worth it. The pita was cold, and hard in places (not fresh). It was wrapped, not folded over, too. It consisted of the meat, sliced onions, and few pieces sliced tomatoes. They gave you the sauce on the side. The flavor was bland, ...I thought to myself, I could have made this at home, using store bought greek packaged food. The food came out to you hot. The place was small, and tables were kinda too close together. Not much on the Greek style within. It was clean. The womens restroom was clean, too. The service was good, and friendly enough. Sorry to say, I will pass next time....
