Ari Delights — Restaurant in Overland Park

My husband and I (and the friends I bring in) all really love this place! The baristas are always pretty friendly, and we love the drinks! However, due to the visit we had recently, I took off two stars accordingly to two problems we had with our visit:

My husband ordered a hot drink, and their steam wand was broken. This would've been a good thing to let the customer know beforehand, and if it was not something known beforehand, the proper thing to do would've been to refund the drink. Though the barista did kindly offer to pour it over ice, my husband didn't want an iced drink, so offering to pour his drink over ice really wouldn't have "solved" anything, per se.

As for my drink, I ordered it with light ice. I had never had a drink where light ice still meant half the cup would basically be ice. A customer wouldn't have seen this when getting the drink, as the drink would cover up the amount of ice you could see. But as I went on drinking, I found myself less and less happy with the amount of ice that was in the drink. I love Boba tea but out of all the Boba places in the greater KC metro area, this place is my absolute favorite. Not only is the atmosphere adorable and darling, they have classic old school video games, free to play, books and games, and adorable little Boba plushies all over the green foliage covered wall(the plushies are for sale too!) They have a couple live plants and upbeat fun music. The staff is wonderful, friendly, fast, and even remember your oder after a few times. I believe its family owned as the same family is there often. But mostly importantly, YOU CAN NOT BEAT THEIR BOBA! The tea itself is the best flavor I've found and I have tried all the Boba places around. If you are looking for a place to study, go on a date or just get a quick drink, ARI DELIGHTS is your new home!! You can even tell them tall girl...

Love their peach teas, which we normally get Peach on da beach and Autumn Zest. Their House special milk tea and Ari Goddess is delicious as well. Used to always get the Love potion which comes in two different flavors to choose from (Guava or passionfruit). Most drinks offered with toppings already which is really great. Prices are very reasonable. Family owned boba shop, originally named Ari Delight but actually is Bao Bao Tea now. Very friendly owners and staff. Perfect to hangout and have some boba tea. They also offer two free gaming machines as well. Everyday is open til 9pm except closed on Tuesday. All drinks are adjustable and you actually can create your own drinks.
