This location has major issues and I am over it. It is normally understaffed (two people) but nights like tonight show that, even with a full staff, it can't handle basic items.
Mobile order placed at 06:00 PM with a pick up time of 06:24 PM. At 06:21 PM the app said it was "in the oven". We got there at 6:25 and the usual warning signs were there - full parking lot, five or more people waiting inside already, no steady stream of people coming out.
I went inside, had nothing ready at the pick up kiosk, gave my name, and waited. At the one hour mark I demanded to know what was going on, where my order was, etc.
As I had seen her do before this night, she walked back, took labels off pizzas for other people, and tried to present it as our food. It wasn't even close to what we ordered and the pizzas were very old and stale. In the back, they had stacks of old pizzas building up - likely because people couldn't wait over one hour and because the staff were randomly giving away orders from other people.
I left with no food, no explanation, no apology, and no refund. I contacted Little Caesars via Twitter and it did apologize and gave me a number to call, but one that is only open Monday to Friday and that was only open from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM ET. Which didn't help me at 07:07 PM.
And then the store had the audacity to report via the app that our order was "ready for pick up" at 07:24 PM.
So that is over one hour "in the oven" and nearly 1.5 hours after we placed our order. And after we caught it handing out old food from other orders and lying about it.
There were five people behind the counter so this wasn't a staffing issue. I think the owner may have been there, too (older gentleman in a Little Caesar branded dress shirt). What a joke and wast of our time, theft of our money, lack of any management, and complete...
Read moreI ordered from this pizza place earlier in the week and the experience was fairly pleasant. I decided to order tonight and tried placing an order around 9:50 for a deep dish pizza. The guy on the phone, Alberto, made me feel like I was putting him out by asking for a pizza because "they closed in 5 minutes" and I told him I lived literally in the neighborhood behind the shop. I asked for the deep dish, he didn't ask what toppings and I had to stop him to say what I wanted. I wasn't looking for anything hard, 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 onions, to which he asked if "I was really going to get there in time." Again I repeated I live right around the corner. I didn't realize they closed at 10pm, it's a pizza place down the road from a college campus... I've worked in the food industry for the last 5 years and understand late orders can be annoying, but I've never felt it acceptable to acknowledge that to the customer. I was asking for something that the previous time ordering I was told was already made and just had to run through the oven so I didn't think 10 minutes would be an issue. I've worked for another pizza chain and can say with certainty they are never allowed to turn down customers or stop making pizzas before closing so I'm really disappointed in this chains lack of customer service. I canceled my order for fear they'd do something unsavory. I plan to call the manager, but since I work a day job I will probably be dealing with the same unenthusiastic man that did not want my business to begin with.
In addition- I found out the man I dealt with, Alberto, is in fact the Manager. If the manager is wanting to check out of the store before closing who knows what the...
Read moreI went to this location about a week ago with my friend. When we went in, it was very clear that they were busy and understaffed. I understand things can get hectic and overwhelming, but the very least someone could do was greet us and say they would be with us in a minute. When we placed our order, it took almost over an hour to get our order out. We sat in the lobby and watched as other people were getting frustrated at how long they were waiting and seeing people leave upset. When we finally got our pizza and got to the car, we checked it and realized we were handed pepperoni. Awfully annoyed, we walked back in and told them about the mistake they made and they said to keep the one we got and then handed us the actual pizza we ordered. The only reason I did not write a review then was because the manager seemed to be a little apologetic and we ended up with two pizzas. I am writing now because this past Sunday I went with my same friend to get the pizza we enjoy, and we were about to experience the same problem. We walked in, and a girl looked right at us and continued prepping some breadsticks with no gloves, without so much as a hello, a smile, or even a "I'll be right there". When she finished whatever she was doing, she walked right off in the back to do God knows what and still not an iota of acknowledgment to us. My friend and I stood there for roughly five whole minute before deciding that we should just start taking our...
