I ordered the Thai Tea Boba Madness and Black Lemon Iced Tea with no toppings for Pickup. They were ready when we arrived and the service was very fast and nice. Prices weren’t too bad, pretty fair $7USD. Appreciate how the tea is brewed per order!
Thai Tea was good but I wasn’t expecting Boba Madness to be a mix of all the toppings offered- especially since there are no descriptions/ingredients in the app. I thought if anything it’d be extra pearls. So that personally wasn’t for me. But the flavour of the tea was good, didn’t taste like powdered tea :) 3/5
Black Lemon Iced Tea was an odd drink, it tasted so dry somehow. Not refreshing at all, just dry. Not for me. 1/5
Overall not a typical bbt joint, not super traditional flavours most of it isn’t tea or milk teas, a lot of slushies, smoothies, lemonades if you’re into that. Names of drinks are pretty vague, like “Red Panda Boba Drink” is brown sugar pearls. Something that bothered us was the other customers that were in line with us. They were standing super unreasonably close to us for some reason- would appreciate personal space. Not the shop’s fault but unfortunately that contributed to the atmosphere on our visit. Also, since they were busy there were so many people crowding the sitting area and over flowing to where the lineup starts. Very cramped, due to the seating arrangements.
Didn’t try the shaved iced, but will be back to try it maybe. Not a bad bubble tea place but isn’t the best thing ever. Caters to a specific...
Read moreMy family and I tried Teapioca Lounge yesterday and to our surprise the boba tea is done right. As a avid boba tea drinker that started drinking boba tea from Taiwan then to California, this boba tea shop brews the tea fresh while not over soaking the tea which would create a bad aftertaste. Additionally the owner has perfected the timing on how long the black boba pearls need to cooked to have what asian called a "QQ" factor which means the black pearl is perfectly cooked with a bouncy texture. In terms of Boba tea shops, I don't believe there is any better boba tea shop; however, this is only based on the Jasmine Green Tea. I will have to try their consistency on Roasted oolong and other teas. My family and I also tried the snow shave ice and finally we found a place in central Florida that does the snow shave ice the right way where the flavors are not overly sweet and the texture is like eating soft fluffy snow. If you want to taste what true boba tea and snow shave ice should taste like, I would definitely recommend Teapioca Lounge. On a side note, the owner of the store is super friendly, helpful and overall service was really great as well. Furthermore, its one of the first boba tea shops I know that offers military / veterans discounts out of hundreds if not thousands of boba shops I been...
Read more2/11/25: My favorite beverage is the "Boba Madness Original" here.
2/16/24: The kids wanted to spend their lunar new year money at Teapioca so I took them here.
Daughter ordered the Thai bubble tea and like it. My Taro Coconut Cream Blast with agar jelly (aka Crystal jelly) was okay. The coconut cream dominated the taro flavor, but still enjoyable for a coconut lover. I ordered the Matcha Snown with additional mango and strawberries for the kids. The shaved ice was big enough for the three kids and I to share but tasted more watery and bland in some areas. We four could not finish the shaved ice dessert. The fresh mangos and strawberries are sour which the kids didn't like much compared to the sweet mango and strawberry shaved ice at Meet Fresh. Customer service is very friendly. Atmosphere and interior decor is very kid-friendly. There are game boards and a craft activity for the kids to do. Note: There is no option to customize the sugar level of each beverage drink and dessert.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience coming here...
