Froggers Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Oviedo

I have gone to Froggers for about 16-17 years now. It has always been my favorite place to go, but lately it's not the same. It wasn't that busy, but the last two times I've gone, it has taken an absurd amount of time to get my food. How long is absurd? 40 minutes to get a medium rare burger. I tried to drink my drink sparingly, but it was obviously warm by the time I got my food, and the timing was just all bad. I don't know if it's under new management, but this place has really changed. I remember as far back, as the area to the right when you walk in, used to be on a raised platform. That's literally how long I've been going. The food is still good, and I LOVE their tater tots and burgers. The food is still good at least. But, the place needs some repairs. A lot of tables are all crooked, falling down, and if you were to put a marble on the table, will undoubtedly roll off. Fast too, some tables it's a miracle the drinks don't even fall! Instead of mounting tables to the wall with no floor support, you probably should switch to floor mounted tables, where the weight is better evenly distributed. (Note, some tables are in fact floor supported, while some are wall mounted. I'm complaining about the wall mounted ones).

I hope the speed of service will improve, and these tables get repaired. I still like the food, and am willing to keep going, but this is my home spot, I want to see this bar and grill continue on, and with these 40 minute waits to get foods, that's the worst part, because I should have walked out and just paid for the drinks and...

Used to go to Froggers all the time and for some reason before the remodel the service was always great. Now after coming back after the remodel multiple times the service has consistently gone down hill. But for some reason waitresses don’t seem interested in coming to your table. Remember sitting down for about 25 minutes last night with my group and these two blonde waitresses just kept passing us.

Only one waitress there was really good with I wish I could remember her name but she had browm hair and was the only one who cared to actually provide a service. She even told us that the other waitresses were suppose to come to our table but didn’t for some reason. I think I know why since as we were waiting for service the same two blonde waitresses saw some people sit down at another table after us and my whole group heard their whole exchange between themselves and I quote Blonde waitress No. 1: “Do you want to get that table?” Blonde waitress No. 2: “Nope hahaha.” Blonde waitress No. 1: “Hahaha me either.” Then they both just leave.

My suggestion to Froggers, hire waitresses that are actually mature and actually provide a service. This was the fourth time I’ve come back to Froggers and have been disappointed with the quality of service from 99% of the waitresses. I won’t be coming back to this location and neither will my group. It’s a shame because I really did like how Froggers was before the terrible...

I definitely agree with the other reviews that state this is the worst Froggers they've been to. I will not be back.

My sister and I spent an hour and 24 minutes here. We entered and were told to sit wherever and our waitress would be over in a moment. After about 8 minutes a different server asked if we had been helped and offered us menus. After 15 minutes, I approached the hostess desk, where 3 servers were standing having a conversation, and asked if they knew who our server was because no one had to come over yet. At 20 minutes of waiting our server finally came over. She didn't apologize for our wait but made sure to inform us that the kitchen was behind and our food would take some time. We agreed and she took our full order. She came back about 3 minutes later and told me they were completely out of bacon so I would need to revise my order. I originally asked for the BLT but ended up getting a burger. I ordered my burger medium and my sister ordered hers medium well. Both burgers came out well. My food was barely warm. My sisters burger was barely warm but her fries were straight out of the fryer hot. We had already waited so long for our food that we weren't going to complain about the burgers not being the temp we wanted. We ate our food, got our check, paid, and left.
