I picked up an UberEats order at this Little Caesars around 5:30 PM on Friday, July 18th. There were two people in front of me waiting when I arrived. A DoorDash driver came in shortly after, entered her code into the hotbox, and got her pizza.
An employee finally came to the front and began taking the order of the person ahead of me. The DoorDash driver politely said, "Excuse me, sir," and the employee cut her off, loudly and rudely saying, “I am taking this guy’s order right now.” She explained that she just had a quick question, and when he finally acknowledged her, he was impatient and aggressive. When she raised her phone to show him the app, he snapped, “Put your phone down—I need to see the ticket,” then tapped each of her items—pizza boxes and crazy bread—counting them loudly: “1, 2, 3, 4,” clearly showing his frustration.
After she left, someone pointed out that my order had already been placed in the hotbox. Since UberEats drivers don’t receive a code like DoorDash does, I had no way to access it. I tried to explain this, but the employee yelled, “Do you see your name on the screen? No? Then it’s not ready.” I told him the name was on the screen, but I didn’t have a code. He snapped, “Are you Grubhub or something?” When I said UberEats, he rudely replied, “Well, that’s why,” and finally gave me a code. As I retrieved the order, he muttered sarcastically, “Them UberEats guys are kind of testy today, huh?”
The entire vibe in the store was tense. Everyone—including other delivery drivers—seemed uncomfortable asking for help out of fear of getting barked at by this employee. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was hostile.
Little Caesars, you need to take this seriously. This person is damaging your reputation and driving away business. I hope this gets addressed before more customers or drivers are...
Read moreI wish I didn’t have to give this 1 star! The so called manager Tami should not be working with the general public! Little Caesar’s should be ashamed to have her representing them and because of her rudeness, I will not be back! I decided to try out the app for the first time and was not aware that you had to put in a code to get the free 2 liter until after I completed my purchase. So I went into the store and asked the manager if she would help me fix the order or give me the 2 liter anyway as I had made the purchase on the app and that’s the promise, to give me a free 2 liter upon doing so. She refused to help me and said she would NOT and could NOT give it to me! Very, very rude! She even gave me the incorrect corporate number when I asked for it! When you’re a manager in customer service, you know that the customer is always right and it is your job to make sure the customer leaves happy. This woman has absolutely NO idea how to be a manager much less how to work in customer service! I still managed to find the correct place to make a complaint against her and I hope Little Caesar’s will take the appropriate action against this employee. She’s costing them customers and will continue doing so! If that code was absolutely needed then she could’ve helped me fix my order and actually HELP her customers instead of being...
Read moreWhen I am there it is usually a great experience. I order a pepperoni, they have it ready, and I’m out.
Today 6/14/19 I went in and the place was packed. I should’ve just walked out but I decided that I would just wait. I waited for about 20 minutes and I realized that almost no ones pizza has came out since I’ve been there.
I asked around and the couple next to me was waiting for 50 minutes!! So I left for two reasons.
1: I wanted to eat in the next hour 2: me not being there and then making the pep anyway would help them out later
I didn’t even ask for my money back because that would have just slowed it down even more for everyone else.
Now, if you are the manager, or franchise owner reading this, the manager was working hard and so was the other staff member but you are severely understaffed. You can’t blame the manager and the staff when they are set up to fail like that. It’s Friday night and they were overwhelmed. I used to work in the food industry and I know how it is to be very understaffed and overwhelmed and it really really sucks. It’s not good for the staff, your customers, or your reputation.
Anyways to conclude, this Little Cesar’s is usually efficient when I’m there but this time was a disaster. Might want to avoid Friday nights till some...
