Today is "Honey, you're on your own for din din night." Grandbaby is a callin Mimi, so it's time for a guilty pleasure! I've been eating at this place since '95, the guys I worked with out at Cherokee Ind. Park would always run and grab various forms of fried rice from this place and we always LOVED it!!!! I stopped eating there when I changed employment, but I rediscovered them when I moved back into the area in '09. Hate to say this because I LOVE them so much, but it is a hole in the wall. I have to overlook this when ordering and picking up my truly comfort food for the evening! Always have to order 1/2 the rice because they will hook you up on the filler. Apologies for the rough critic' but when you get to their food, it's worth getting caught walking out of the place with it! It's that good!!! Parking lot has a continual parade of folks going in to get their take out...(Hint, hint to the ownership) Originally they only had the one store as best as I can recall (21 years ago), but they have occupied the store next to it doubling their occupancy. (It is needed as the original store front is busy handling all the take out orders.) Love their heat scale for your particular dish (1-10) (all dishes are included in the heat scale if you want), plus they have hot mustard on the ready just in case. Don't want to trade the goodness of the food for a show spot to eat in...just show some TLC to the place that folks are coming to eat your delicious food! If I didn't care about the well being of the establishment, I wouldn't put so much time into this review! BTW See you...
Read moreSeason's is our favorite Chinese restaurant..when we lived in Tulsa, we made special trips to get their food. I would compare their cooking style to buffet? Their egg drop soup is the only one I like..anywhere. Occasionally, depending on who's cooking, it's very thin and similar to chicken broth, but 9 times out of 10, it's thick and yummy! I like..love the hunan beef. My husband usually goes for seasonal chicken or the veggie combo..they recently added rice noodles (finally!) to their menu, but it costs extra because it is actually a deluxe meal that also comes with an egg roll. I don't like anyone else's sweet and sour sauce, but I don't like their duck sauce. It's housemade, but I actually prefer the little packages that some restaurants have (weird for me to like packaged food). I tend to stick with my hunan beef (5 spicy - you can her 1-10 on any dish), extra veggies (0.50 extra), no cabbage (they use strips in that specific dish and I think they're tough that way) with rice noodles. Egg rolls are good with housemade sweet and sour sauce or the housemade hot mustard. Enjoy! The only reason the service isn't excellent is because when you call to place a to go order, they usually just say "thank you" and don't tell you that it will most likely be ready in 10 mins or less (personal experience) or give a price over the phone unless you request it. I usually eat here once a week...it is definitely my...
Read moreMy review below was nearly a year ago...since then I have been here maybe 3 times. Each time it gets worse. Now...I will not go back. Last 2 times I have been in there the sesame chicken i usually order and orange chicken mydaughter gets has tasted off...smelled off...its odd like wood or something...not sure. Took it back up there to let them know and they looked at us both like we were nuts. We got something completely different to replace our orders. She ordered sweet and sour chicken and I ordered broccoli beef. There was a price difference for the broccoli beef so she charged me 1.37 more. Lol. Since the food was inedible it should have been replaced with out the upcharge...but who am I...only worked in food service for 20 years...but whatever I paid it...and it was decent. Beef was really chewy but the sweet and sour chicken seemed safe. It's a shame...I loved this place. Used to be so good. Not sure what's happened in the last 9 months...but wont be back I dont think. Original post: 9 months ago👇 To any Owassoian...this is the real Panda Express. I have been going here since high school (a long time) and this is by far the best I have ever had...anywhere. Food is always hot and they don't skimp on quantity that's for sure. Price is good. Only Eggroll or springroll I will eat. Love the cheese...
