I went there twice today. And honestly, if I could rate this truthfully, I would give it -5 stars. The first time my mom brought me and my boyfriend there, bought us all food, then we went home. While there, they were out of the Hershey's pie's that my mom wanted and before we left, mozzarella sticks were so old they were disgustingly cold and crunchy and dry, and the cheese inside wasn't even the normal color. When we got home, I realized they had given me the wrong 2 sandwiches. Me and my boyfriend went back soon after so they could correct the 2 sandwiches. (They were supposed to be spicy crispy chickens, but I got spicy chicken Jr's.) When inside bk again, the staff I'm the kitchen, Tim and Eleazar, were unorganized, not paying attention to the food, and were unprofessionally laughing at us and other customers. Took me literally 30 minutes to receive my 2 sandwiches, because the first time they burnt the chicken because they were not paying attention while standing in the lobbing talking to each other and messing around. The second time, I'm not sure what happened, pretty sure they ropped them on the floor. I finally got my sandwiches and sat down to eat them, in which the entire time the kitchen staff, again Tim and Eleazar, gave me dirty looks, continuously stared at me and were talking about me and my boyfriend, laughing at us. Already it was unprofessional. But what made it even worse, was when we told the manager (super nice lady by the way. She was very helpful, kind, and genuinely seemed like she was upset with them from my complaint. I believe her name was Heather.), after telling the two kitchen staff, the two of them decided to come out into the lobby while we were leaving and started yelling at us, telling us that we are the ones who have the problem and were staring at THEM, and threatening us. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. I plan to to in very frequently until I get to find the GM and tell her all about what unprofessional kitchen staff she has. I really hope these two will be fired or some kind of unpaid vacation, or some kind of punishment is going to occur. If nothing is handled at that point, I will be contacting corporate. This kind of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE of a work crew. On top of that, the kitchen worker Eleazar is, I guess, supposedly in training to be a manager. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't want to ever deal with a manager, of any...
Read moreI went thru drive thru to reorder a sandwich that was made incorrectly. I have a food allergy and I asked for no mayonnaise on my whopper. I got to the window and explained the situation. I asked to speak with the manager. She took my sandwich and said she’d be right back. The drive thru window is wide open and you can hear clear as day what the crew members are saying. I hear from the kitchen “This *** came back for a free whopper, what the *?” I was very insulted. The manager brought my sandwich to the window and I told her mistakes like this can kill people. Food allergies are a big concern in the food business and it can lead to law suits and cost someone their life. I realize that it’s just fast food to people, but customer service is an industry I’ve worked in my whole life. The customer is what keeps the doors open. To disrespect your customer for making a reasonable request, is just unacceptable. They offered me a free meal for my next visit, I most definitely won’t be using it. I’m writing this review just to warn people, always check your food before you eat it, and don’t stand for any nonsense. I was a manager for McDonald’s, and I have been a waitress for many years, never would I ever stand for a customer being disrespected like this. Customers can be very unreasonable sometimes, and can even just be down right mean, we’ve all had them. But if a customer comes in and is polite and just asks for a quick fix, do it and don’t shame them for it. That’s how you...
Read moreEvery time I make the mistake of thinking this branch might get better... Never does. My favorite was the burger that got stuck in the broiler and charred halfway, then sat there stuck until it was cold, then obviously dug out to complete my double cheese burger. Had I more time and not left the parking lot I could have returned it perhaps.
Today the staff was having a picnic outside. Why they chose to have it at by the dumpsters and make the main course vape and cigarettes, I can't be sure. I counted 5 employees outside at lunch hour. But rest assured there was someone there to take my order and give me the opposite of what I wanted (no lettuce) cold chicken on a dried out cardboard bun.
I get it. Low paying job. No one wants to work. Its just food service. Why bother to have any kind of pride in your effort.
Just close the branch. You won't ever get better.
But if your a fan on Burger King, head on over for some diarrhea. The Owatonna Burger King is happy...
