UPDATE: Standing in restaurant on 04-20-22. I paid 25 minutes ago. There are 3 people other than me in the lobby and only a handful in the drive thru. The service we're receiving tonight is unspeakable. I understand things happen when it gets busy but it's not busy at all. Another gentleman in the store started a timer to see how long it takes someone to even acknowledge him waiting to place his order. As I type, his timer is at 23 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Get off your phones, stop gossiping, and do your job! I've never even seen a McDonald's before today that allowed employees to use their phones while working! I can't speak for the inside of the restaurant since I haven't been inside due to COVID but their drive thru rates a solid 4 stars. They're always fast - I've never waited more than 10 minutes from the time I enter the lot to the time I receive my food and leave - even when I pull in and am the 5th-6th vehicle in line. The employees are some of the friendliest I've met in a drive thru. Always a kind word and smile on their faces. My order has always been correct, which is incredibly rare for fast food. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because it is fast food, after all. The food will never look like it does in advertisements or taste as good as McDonald's wants us to believe. But for a quick, cheap, convenient meal, I would definitely choose this location...
Read moreJust had a less than pleasant interaction with a person working at the first drive thru window at the Hwy 54 location. My husband ordered both him and I a Bacon Egg and Cheese mcmuffin with extra bacon, which I have ordered many times in the past with no issue. But on the screen it showed “egg McMuffin with Canadian bacon” so I told my husband to address that when we got to the window. We mentioned it to the person at the window and they proceed to argue with me and not listen to what I’m saying and they keep repeating that the McMuffin only comes with Canadian bacon but that they can swap it out for me and I keep telling them that yes the egg McMuffin does but that isn’t what we are ordering and the bacon egg and cheese has actual bacon and it’s a separate item on the menu that I have NEVER had an issue ordering before this instance. At some point they realize they are wrong while I’m still speaking and snap back at me “okay I got it ma’am” and have to have someone help them to void that order and make a new one. They never at any point apologize for their misunderstanding and lack of knowledge of what is on their menu and not actually listening to what we are ordering. Just because they're playing little minions to the main manipulator of the pack, the own stores general manager, Brandy Luck. If you want true, respectful, honest, and you definitely can't forget about the true care for the customers come on the night shift or seems to be every Sunday now. A grown woman, mother of 2 grown kids, (hope they dont turn out like the evil monster of a mother they have), stooped as low as a kindergarten student telling the teacher another student cut in line. Just because one single person made more of a positive impact on this store in 3 weeks, than she did in years.. one person who has the cruelty in their heart to take away a TEN HOUR SHIFT that I had worked ON THE CLOCK and ms. Lisa Sampson PERSONALLY had fixed for me just because I didn't put a date on the scratch paper that I had wrote it on as a reminder. Just because she has the power and authority to be able to do that. If everyone would like to know the TRUTH behind the reason I got fired, and that's because 4 managers fell for Brandys manipulative tactics and wrongfully terminated me.
