NEW CHINA BUFFET — Restaurant in Owensboro

My 3 children and I went to eat lunch and celebrate a special occasion ❤️ we ordered drinks and I ordered a Pepsi. When I tasted it I was given diet Pepsi. When the waitress returned I told her she had given me diet Pepsi. She said she did and I said I asked for regular Pepsi (I hate the taste of diet Pepsi). The waitress was talking loudly to her coworkers as she took my drink from the table and I could hear her as she fixed my new drink. She talked loudly THE WHOLE TIME. I didn't let it bother me. I was kind and patient and I have also worked as a waitress. She brought my new drink sat it down hard and just walked away. No worries though. When I tasted it she had given me diet again. No biggy. I figured someone had hooked up the wrong hose to diet instead of regular. When she came back she was mad at me and saying "YES! YOU GET DIET". I let her know it was diet and I would just like a coke instead. She then brought me a sprite and slammed it on the table and walked off yelling towards her coworkers spread out over the buffet. I felt like she ruined our visit and had such hate towards me. I don't know why but we won't go back and spend $50 to be treated bad. I...

This place used to be amazing 7years ago, it has significantly gone down hill since. Today my macaroni was like thin watered down noodles with no taste, chewy chicken, cold bland food, and to top it all off i found a long black hair in my favorite dish on the buffet(crab and shrimp veggie mix). After i brought this issue to a waiter, she went over to the buffet, picked out the hair and went on about her day. I was disgusted as i couldnt knowlingly eat something with potentially more hairs, even though it is my favorite dish The floor was extremly slippery with grease to the point i had to be very cautious as im pregnant. Today i really wanted chinese so i gave it one more chance since last time it was subpar as well, i will not be back here any more. An absolutely outrageous price for this experience, almost 18$ per person. Would give negative stars if i could. My sign should have been the puke i saw in the parking lot before entering... pictured for your unpleasent viewing. I have never had such a bad experience in a restraunt and paid almost 20$ for it, and i had water...

Food is okay. Sometimes it's really good. But I'm just wondering here in America, for how much longer do you expect your customers to directly pay your employees??? That should be completely illegal. Like, I understand they foolishly CHOSE a job that pays $2.00/hr. But how is that my fault? I get nothing added to my paycheck to cover theirs. Taxes either?? Like.. I work for a business. I don't run one.. YET.. But when I do, I promise I won't come to you asking you to pay my employees. Some, countries don't even allow you to tip, because (hear me out here. It's a pretty tricky scenario.. but) they actually pay their own employees. I get this is America. Land of the free (they say) Home of more prisoners that half the rest of the world put together. Home of the worlds most expensive (price gouging) healthcare (which usually only makes you sicker) Sorry to get barely off topic, but it all goes together. I gave you an average review.
