Dine in.. our server Gage was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable & the right amount of attentive without being intrusive. He did his best to make it a good visit. Hands down HE was the best part of our experience.
The food was just OK. I don't have high expectations for the food served here which is why I have not been for some time to ANY location. But even with the bar set low it was overall disappointing. We ordered 6 wings with the Sweet BBQ sauce and they were barely OK. Nothing special at all about them. I know this is a very basic menu item (we picked this one due to having a child with us who loves wings) but really. I have gotten better wings out of the freezer at the grocery store.
We also ordered the all American Cheeseburger with the sauted onions Mayo & Mustard on the side which comes with shredded lettuce, Pickles,Tomatoes and fries. I also ordered a separate order of Tater Tots. The fries and tots were good and were a bigger portion than I expected which was fine, but again nothing special. The burger bun was tasty & toasted but the burger itself (which is a double, they all are) was in pieces and falling out of the sandwich. It was jucy and tasted OK but very messy. I've never had a burger served to me literally pieced together like that. They did not put the grilled onions on it and did not send the condiments so instead of complaining we made due by using the ranch that came for the wings which was fine. But again disappointing.
We finished the meal by sharing the chocolate fudge cake which has a chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Again I knew it would be something out of a freezer so I didn't have unrealistic expectations but it was so dry we didn't finish it, whoever plated it only put a little drizzle of chocolate sauce just right up the middle and I'm not kidding it was a half a scoop of ice cream. At least that was not freezer burnt. But I would not recommend it. Smh.. how can you mess up chocolate? It was bad enough that the 11 year old chocolate lover didn't finish it and we left a big hunk on the plate. Gage did take it off our bill even though I didn't ask him to.
If you are going to drink, hang with friends & watch sports then mabey this works for you but if you want a good meal I'd go somewhere else. It's sad that as I was pulling out of the parking lot I had the thought that I'd wished we had gone...

B-dubs usually get our order right so oh well right⦠I call them that night and speak with the manager and they agreed to refund the part that was wrong, sounds fair to me so instead of refunding it on our card the manager stated that we would have a $15 credit waiting for us the next time we come in, sounds good to me. So fast forward to today 01/27/25 almost a month later, we order B-dubs to go again, we pay full price on the app because we had not yet had a chance to pick up our $15 credit. I send my drivers license with my mother in law tonight so she can go ahead and pick up this credit for us⦠the manager on duty states he cannot find anything for me, my mother in law gave him my spouses name and nothing under that name either. My mother in law expressed to the manager the exact date we ordered our food on 12/30/24 and what it was and what was wrong, the manager rudely tells her that since we couldnāt remember the manager we spoke to that there is nothing they can do about this⦠the manager tells my mother in law that people try to get free food all the time as if he didnāt believe her? She explains to him I understand that people probably would try to get free food this way but she assured him that this was not the case. The manager still doesnāt care and pretty much told her sorry about our luck. My issue here isnāt over $15 at this point, my issue is that the manager flat out disrespected my mother in law and pretty much called her/us a liar. Really weāre lyingā¦.? Yeah weāre lying because we just paid for all of our food on the app we simply wanted our $15 credit for the next time we decided to dine in. I donāt leave bad reviews often because I was always taught if you donāt have anything nice or good to say donāt say anything at all, so know that you really have to upset me to get a bad review. For me to take the time to write a bad review out in itself tells you that I am beyond disappointed in how we were treated as loyal customers. As much as we like the food this is it for us. From now on when we want B-dubs we will eat it out of town, as far as Iām concerned B-dubs of Owensboro is permanently closed! Shame...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAny time we visit this location there is an issue with something...slow, tons of dirty tables, trash all over the floor, the bathrooms working or being nasty. Bathrooms were the latest issue. We came in, choose a table in the bar, ordered and were brought our drinks. Server came to take our order, then left...to come back within 5 minutes to say "the bathrooms are broken again, so I can bring your food, but you can't order anything else or any more drinks." Again. Seriously. I've tried to brush it off when there was an actual porta potty truck parked out front but the persistence of the bathroom issues has ended my relationship with this buffalo wild wings. If there isn't a bathroom, what are the employees doing? How are THEY washing their hands, dishes, using the restroom? Prepping my food and drinks? Disgusting. I do not plan on coming back until this issue is resolved. And your poor employees!!!! There was a game on, and they're losing out on their tips and income for something they have zero control over. I'll find other places to eat wings and drink. Our server was very nice about it, but clearly frustrated. When we left there were customers standing out from questioning US as why there was a closed sign on the door when there were people in there...
