Owosso Donuts — Restaurant in Owosso

We stopped here on a whim, as we consider ourselves 'commonsewers' of pastries delights, and like to try fare from bakeries located in towns and villages that we are passing through. We stopped there at about 10:30 am on a Thursday morning, and the inside of the store was clean, and the shelves were full with lots of product to select from. The friendly owner claimed that everything was made that morning. We ordered a 1/2 dozen and went on our way. Once on the road, we started our sampling. Nothing disappointed! They were definitely freshly made. The outside was cooked to perfection, the inside was sufficiently done, but not overcooked. The flavors were delicious and the fillings and toppings spot on. We passed through Owosso 3 days later and stopped again, this time mid afternoon on a Saturday. Again, we found fully stocked display cases, filled with fresh ware. We ordered 6 more doughnuts, and again found them to be superior. If you are picky about your doughnuts, you will be happy with theirs. We highly recommend this bakery, and WILL return there again. We should note that the parking lot is ample, but does that have room for someone with an RV to enter and easily turn around. Single handedly one of the best donuts I've ever had. We got a couple custard long johns and even got to try a sample of their apple fritter. Literally amazing, they have a nice balance of sweetness so you don't feel like you're breathing sugar after finishing and the amount of filling you get to donut ratio is perfect. After moving away from my hometowns bakery I'm ecstatic that I get to live close to one that is just as great. Highly recommend for not only the amazing donuts but the amazing customer service as well, will definitely be my go to spot. This is not a place you'll want to pass...

Went there for the first time today. Got three donuts. They were all delicious! They had great texture and very soft where it was supposed to be. The place smells amazing. The owner and staff was very nice and friendly. The building looked amazing as I know they put a lot of money into it. Glad to see the building being used again. I'm sure they will do very well. Thank you, for wonderful donuts. I definitely will go and buy donuts...
