Korner Pub — Restaurant in Owosso

Went to the Korner Pub on a Sunday afternoon. And it surpassed my expectations. (Pictured) I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork burger and it was GOOD! It wasn’t too Smokey tasting and the pork was not dry. Those two things are very important to me on a pulled pork and they were done correctly. Also you must upgrade and get their Kracked Pepper Fries, you won’t be disappointed. Good amount of seating at the restaurant, tables are close together.

A dislike I had were their bills. (Pictured) They do not clearly list that their “supplemental fee” is actually only for credit card transactions. Well I was paying cash at that time and that fee wouldn’t apply to me. But when you look at the total it would appear that you need to pay it. Obviously I am not upset about the extra $2 I can afford it but it should have two totals listed (cash or credit card) or state it is only for credit card transactions.

Horrible! They had a sign to seat yourself but the tables were dirty and they were not very busy. So we picked the least dirty table and used the napkins she sat down for our drinks to wipe the table. About 5 minutes later someone asked what we wanted to order we decided to try a appetizer so we got the pretzel. 5 minutes after that someone came to ask for our order again because obviously there is no communicate. I literally watched them put the pretzel in the microwave then sat it under a light. So happy we didn't actually order a meal. I could make better at home since I don't even own a microwave! The cheese was cold and started to taste funny after a few bites of it. When we were done we had to bring our bill up to them for them to finally let us pay our bill! Will...

Nice clean pub, there were 5 people working while we were there. There were a couple of items on the menu that we wanted to order, but we were informed that they were being discontinued. The wife had an olive burger with fries. The burger was overcooked and dried out, and she asked for fries well done, which not sure how they cooked them, but they looked like they were cooked longer, yet they were not crisp. I had a beef burrito, which was just ok. I have had much better and much worse. There were only 4 beer choices on draft, so we each had a mixed drink (whiskey and vernors). Which were way overpriced at $11.00 each....
