I placed an order 5 days before my son's 6th birthday. This was my very first visit to the store and I was REALLY excited to try out the business. We ordered an assortment of 12 cupcakes, each one special and unique for each family member that would be at the get together. When I went in to pick up the order, the lady was questioning me if I had come to the correct location or if I was mistaken about my order because they had no record of my order. I explained the details of the order, the date and time placed and that I had come into the store to place the order. Low and behold, she found my order form in the binder and it had never been prepared. She made a call to the owner and then began to try to put cupcakes together quickly with what she had in the back. I waited a good 20 min before she told me it would be another 20 min or so. I had food to finish preparing and people showing up at my hous . So, I told her I would send someone else to pick up the order. I sent my mom back and they wanted to take $2 off of the order and give me coupons to come back to the store!!!To make matters worse, the teddy bear cupcake for the birthday boy was not in the order and the tops to the cupcakes began falling off as we took them out of the package!!! This bakery is appealing from the moment you pull up in front of the building. Once you’re inside, your sweet tooth is assaulted and teased with an array of yummy treats pleasing not only to the eye, but to your sweets craving tastebuds!!! Seriously though, I Love how cute it’s decorated. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. The woman ahead of me ordered a lovely sounding 3 layer unicorn cake with a twisted color mane for $40! The staff offered her so many choices and options!!!

While I was there, a woman came in to get more of the daily lunch special because her mother raved about it to her for 15 minutes. (Backstory I witnessed was that elderly mom has her lunch delivered most days from cupcakes and kisses.) The owner overheard the request, stopped decorating her cupcake, verified who the mom was, went into the kitchen to bring out a generous portion of bbq and buns and GAVE it to her! And thanked her mother for having given them the business for the last year!! Amazing!!! This bakery has my business 100%!

I bought cupcakes for my old coworkers, but I bought cinnamon rolls with buttercream frosting for myself. Hubbs, who is very critical of cinnamon rolls, was impressed how even the outside of the cinnamon roll was soft-not hard like other bakery’s. Cupcake and Kisses NEEDS to be who you choose for your wedding cake or cupcakes! When we went in for cupcake sampling, we were told that no reservation was needed and to just come on in (which was really nice because we were living in Seattle at the time but our wedding was in Michigan where our family lives), so it was nice to be able to not feel stressed with a reservation. That... and we had our little pup with us too! The samples - full on cupcakes and up to 8 flavors to really see what we wanted. On top of that, we could speak with the Manager who bakes the cupcakes to see if we could do a specialty flavor for our wedding. We absolutely adore you all. The process of booking for our wedding was so easy, and you all were right about having 4 different kinds and having additional cupcakes. On top of that, when they found out that we did not have a wedding cake, they assisted us in providing a last minute wedding cake that would be just for us for a cake cutting! So last minute, BUT IT WAS THE BEST CAKE THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD! I mean.. look at the pictures! I was stressed and down to the wire in the last month of the wedding as I am finalizing the order, and all I could fathom to say was listing some decor items for our wedding and kind of the theme, and the cake was perfect.
