Knowledgeable service. My husband and I are renovating our house, for the past 3 years we have received consistent, friendly knowledgeable advice on how to tackle everything from plumbing to putting in a new floor. The staff had recommendations for the best paint to use on a cast iron tub, inside kitchen drawers and outside for painting a screen door. Anytime we are unsure what the best way to tackle a project is, we visit Gilbert's first. On top of this, their products are outstanding. We have tried a few different types of paint over the years, and so far nothing compares to the tone, finish quality and lack of smell of Pratt and Lambert and their do it best porch and floor enamel. Also, if you show up on a good day, their bird might even say hi and let you pick him up. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Great job to the whole team...

I love shopping here. This morning I stopped in to grab a couple bags of ice melt. I was immediately greeted by more than one person. I used my most recent reward card and got an extra $5 off, sweet.

Then Todd grabbed the two bags and asked where I would like them so I told him to just throw them on my back seat on top of my coat.

I get to the gas station and go to remove the bags so I can grab my coffee mug which I had left on my coat and assumed was now under the bags of ice melt. NOPE, not only did he move my coffee mug and set it aside, he also set my Bible aside before putting the bags in. Keep in mind he did it while only wearing his Gilbert's polo with two bags in one arm and it's literally freezing outside this morning....

Well i can't say I've ever been here but I can definitely tell you I will not be giving them my business. I called them and talked very clearly not slurring words or talking fast or anything. Told the lady who answered the phone that, "I'm looking for C clamps that are used to hold down a truck bed capper". She paused for a bit before saying something i find rather strange, "I don't have no clue what the first item you said is but we do have C clamps". Like really miss are you high at work? There wasn't two items only one other than me saying what they are for so you knew what I was talking about. Like seriously....truck cappers and C clamps have been around forever. Person must live in a hole or not know...
